If I break up a session, will it be as effective?

I am really wanting to do the Sweat and Tears rotation. My delima is I have quite a demanding job and workout in the mornings for an hour before work. I don't know if I can fit these workouts into an hour and I was curious if I broke them up, into one hour in the am and 30 minutes in the pm, would it be as effective.

Also, for the walking lunges are these 200 total or per leg? and with or without weights?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.:)

Hi Ashumate! This rotation is designed to be a plateau buster and therefore it is extra intense. If you split the routine you will lose some of the intensity factor, however, the rotation is a rather tough one. I think by even splitting it up you will still come out a winner. If time is your only deterrent, go for it anyway.

As for walking lunges, you alternate legs since you are actually walking while you are doing them. So step (lunge) forward with your right foot and then follow through stepping (lunging) forward with your left foot (that equals two lunges). Start with no weights and when (if) it becomes too easy add light handweights as you walk.

Good Luck!

Thank you so much! It is hard to do this at 5:30am but I am motivated!

My name is Allyson. Thanks again!

These are two older rotations. One is July 2003 and the other is a January one designed to really kick your butt. If you go to the DVD rotation topic there is a listing of these rotations.

I have also copied them into a word file. I you like, email me at [email protected] and I will email the word file.
