Ideas for fun core workout for 12 yr olds?

Hi,
I was hoping some of you could help me. For one of my classes, a classmate and I have to do community service which involves teaching 16 6th graders some kind of exercise. We decided to teach a core class with a 10 min warm-up of basic exercises, jacks, speed skaters, etc. The main part of the workout will need to be approx. 20-25 mins. So far, I have some pretty good ideas; various planks (w/ a contest at the end for those who want to participate), wheelbarrows, standing rotation twists w/ dyna band (partnered), supermans', etc...any other ideas? The only equipment we'll have are the dynabands and possibly some soccer balls which can act as medicine balls. At this point I have enough exercises to fill the time, but I thought I'd see if anyone has some fun ideas (particularly partner exercises and dynaband exercises) that I hadn't thought of.

:) :) :)

You can use the soccor balls for the kids to put their hands on and trying to balance while doing planks. Or you can use the soccor ball having them lay on their backs, knees bent, soccor ball under their feet. Then raise and lower their hips while trying to balance. Not easy with a smaller ball, by the way. ;) Or you can have them sit up, knees bent, feet on the floor, ball in hand, only one hand. They curl down just a little, until they can feel it in their abs, then they take the ball and reach to a corner of a mat then same corner they have the ball in. So, if they have the ball intheir right hand they reach back behind them to the right corner, come to center and switch.
