Ideas for Cathe's planned 4-Day Split Series

As stated in Cathe's "Announcement" post:

"A four day cardio/weight split routine (i.e.:)
a) 30 minute form of cardio plus 30 minutes upper body
b) 30 minute form of cardio plus 30 minutes standing lower body focus
c) 30 minute form of cardio plus 30 minutes remaining upper body
d) 30 minute form of cardio plus 30 minutes lower body floorwork"

I'd like to make a few suggestions re this series:

a.) Mini Imax - 5 INTENSE intervals followed by chest, tri, and shoulder work.
b.) Hi/Lo Max - 30 min. of intense hi/lo (more hi than lo) followed by standing lower body weight work and abs.
c.) Step Kickbox - 30 min. of step kickbox followed by bicep work, back work, and planks.
d.) Med Ball Max - 15 min of step using the med ball, 15 min of non-step plyo work using the med ball followed by lower body floor work (with some incorporation of the med ball) and a med ball ab routine.

Also, I would LOVE to see some premixes such as:
a.) "All Cardio 1," which uses segments from all or some of the cardio portions.
b.) "All Cardio 2," which uses different segments from the cardio portions.
c.) "Circuit 1" featuring cardio interspersed with lower body segments.
d.) "Circuit 2" featuring cardio interspersed with upper body segments.
e.) Perhaps a total body weight workout using a few segments of the lower and upper body work

I included core/ab work in three out of the four days.

FYI: This workout series is one of Cathe's (she posted it in her "Clear Channel Announcement" post), but she gave no specific details. I merely stated what I'd like to see the series comprised of. I'm really looking forward to this as it sounds somewhat like a CTX II!!!!

Love it except not the suggestion of step kickbox. Step kickbox sucks. It's neither as productive or as much fun as pure step or pure kickbox. Please do the straight kickbox with emphasis on combos not broken down too much for maximum burn (since we would be doing it repeatedly and would soon learn the combs). The combos in KPC are excellent. More of the same please.

To each their own, but I find step section 2 of SJ&P (the step kickbox section) to be the toughest of that workout's 4 step sections. I also find the step kickbox from Power Circuits and from Circuit Max to be challenging. Cathe knows how to jack up the intensity and use some interesting moves while still keeping our heart rates up. I, too, love KP&C - but variety is the spice of life!
