I wish this was a joke....

OMG
How horrible for him and his family.

What is wrong with people (I just can't understand the mob rush to buy cheap stuff)?

I agree.
My son works for Best Buy and he says the early bird specials are plain junk. $10 dvd players that play like $10 dvd players.
Why would anyone fight for this junk is beyond me!!!

How sad, and so far from what Christmas is all about. :(

Junk is right. I looked through the Black Friday ad for Walmart and still can't figure out what was the big sale. $500 TV??

I wish every single person who even laid a toe or an eye on that poor man could be arrested for murder, because that's exactly what it was. How greedy we (as a people in general) have become. This time of year is for giving and thanks, and this is how it's celebrated, by killing a man to save a buck, or keep up with the Jones's, or keep a whiny brat kid happy (sorry if that sounds harsh).........or whatever other selfish reason people have for stomping their feet on another person, like they're nothing. I know I sound so bitter, but I'm disgusted to the point of tears...that man could have been my ( or your) husband, son, brother, father...etc....

In situations like that, who is really to blame, though?

The people in front, who were probably the first to trample him, were no doubt pushed by the mobs behind them, and had no choice but to move forward or be trampled to death themselves. The ones in the back pushing couldn't see what was happening (but I blame them more than the ones in the front) and just kept pushing.

It gives me the creeps.

And I'm sure that those who realised what was going on (and were at risk of being trampled themselves) are having some sleepless nights about this.

beyond that they STEPPED over the man to get in the store and many didn't want to stop shopping. some selfish woman was on CNBC complaining that she didn't feel it was right b/c she waited all night blah blah blah. hey black friday can be good for some but its not really worth acting like selfish animals. be there done that and it wasn't worth it for me. i just know when, where, and how to shop for my deals all year long :D

i really feel this economy thing is starting to be a message from god on how ppl behave. this truly shows many in this country have a lot to learn from the tough times we are having. i think things will change for the better once ppl learn to love what they have and not to pine for what they don't and stop being so greedy and acting like they are entitled and truly work hard and stop living off credit to keep up with jones'.

i pray for man's family. its just very very sad and down right sickening.
