I used my BTR today......

and I think I will like it!!! I made a great rotation I started today using Fitness Fanatics website(THANKS LIZ!!!) and will work my legs 3 times per week, and my UB twice with cardio mixed in. I am using my Intensity Series, PS Series, and my LL and CTX UB, and my Terminators!!! I am so excited, it varys my workouts so much!!!! Anyway, I am going to use the weight tape first for LB, and then do the 5 exercises that they show you on the tapes, 3 sets for 15 reps. I used both of my bands today. My buns can feel it already, especially my saddlebags. I did Pyaramid LB today, then used my rocker. The only question I have is my Rocker catches sometimes on the way back, is that normal??

I have been thinking about the BTR or Rockit for a long time. Yesterday I did the Core video from FitPrime and my left knee is so sore I can barely walk...The pathetic part is that I didnt use weights for the leg exercises, and the step I used for the leg press is about 6 in. I guess it is time to buy something that I can use to work my legs instead of the lunges or squats. Please let me know how you are doing with the BTR or Rockit!!!

Isn't it great! I got my mind a week ago and have used it with the pyramid video and power hour. I really think I'm going tolike it as well. I was a tad concerned since my right knee acts up a lot but it's been great.
My rocker doesn't catch on the way down, it goes down smoothly just to let you know.

I just got my BTR this weekend and I think I'm going to like it too! I used it tonight with my PS legs and abs. Which rotations are you using from the Fitness Fanatics site? I can feel it working too. I'm glad I got it.

Hi Lori,

I was wondering if you could post your rotation or tell me which one it is at Fitness Fanatics. I just recently got the B&TR and have tried it with LL, which I really liked. I want to put some extra focus on my legs and would love to add the B&TR to a rotation.

I will try to post it over there. I just put my tapes in and made myself a rotation based on 3 leg workouts, and 2 UB workouts. I am blonde, so I am having a very hard time understanding how you guys use the BTR with Cathe tapes. When the dead lifts come on, do you use a barbell??? Do you just use the rocker mainly for squats and calfs?? Please explain to me please. Thanks.

When I do lunges on the B&TR I turn my feet at a slanted angle (facing the same direction) and then turn them the other direction when she changes legs. On the deadlifts I sometimes get off and just do them normal, other times I stay on and place my heels on the platform with my toes up in the air to focus on the hamstrings. When she does the step-ups I just place one leg on the platform with my other off to the side (but not down on the floor)and do a leg press. On the sit and stands and such I just follow along on the B&TR and act like it is my stool/bench. I hope this makes some since, it is often hard to explain unless you can see it. I am not sure what the other's do but this is how I have been using it so far.

Thank you Jessica. Now I understand. I ordered more bands last night. They told me you could only use 2 bands on each side, is that correct??? Since I muffed up my rotation on Liz's site, I wii just post it here.

I think severalpeople use more than 2 bands at a time. I know Honeybunch posted that she was using 140lbs at one time(I think she's up to 150lbs). I don't see how you could use that much and only have 2 bands on each side.
 
I agree, that is why I was very confused when the guy told me that. I will oprder more when I am ready for Them Right now I will have 2-25's and a 10 on each side. That should work for a bit!!!! I just used the ones I got with it, and my legs are sore, so I will be ok for awhile. Thanks!!

Hey everyone!

Here is something I shared on another BTR thread. Just thought you'd like to know in case you missed it:

I just discovered today that I have weight plates (the ones that fit on barbells) that have 2" holes! They fit onto the bar of the BTR perfect! These might be a consideration if you already have them or you might be able to find/buy them cheaper then ordering extra bands. Just a thought.

That's GREAT! It sure beats having to buy more bands if you have something that will make do! Yeeeah! Besides, we need to save our $'s for the new Cathe gear and the mini-step, right? I think I am going to have to build a new home with a bigger workout area and bigger walk-in closet to accomodate all these new purchases! Tee-Hee!

It's also great to use for incline flyes and presses. Because of that, I like to work legs and chest on the same day.
