I was at a play it again sports resale shop and saw a set of platemates marked for $5.95 and I picked them up thinking even though they were the octagon shape that they would still work on my weight plates. When taking them to the register the guy said there was another pair there and that it was $5.95 for the set of 4. I thought damn skippy that's a bargain.

And one set is actually strong enough to attach to my rubber coated dumbbells. Go me !
