I saw a small step (21") at Kmart with Cathe All Step Video- Is that step O.K. for the Video??

The step and the video were only $21 packaged together. I want to buy a step but don't want to spend $90 on one until I know I am going to stick with working out.

Is it safe to buy this small step for beginning. I know Cathe uses the large ones in her video.

Thanks

Well, that really IS a good price.

I think you should look at it this way: If you DO continue working out (and I hope you do :D), you will definitely need the full-sized step to really enjoy Cathe's workouts. Although
you will no longer use the smaller step, you can look at it as paying a little high for the video tape.

If you DON'T continue working out, at least you only lost out on $21, and you could probably sell the video on ebay or half.com or something.

I actually bought this at Kmart a few weeks ago. The step is called BodyStep and it does have Cathe All Step Video in it. It was $21. Is is a good step to start out with. This step is actually wider than the one I had that is why I wanted it and it can adjust from 4" to 6". I would recommend this if you are new to step aerobics.

I got the 21 inch Body Step and Cathe All Step Video for myself and my daughter at K-Mart. I have a full size reebok step but wanted the smaller one to keep in my bedroom.

Yikes!

I think that they mean the step is 21" LONG, not HIGH! At least I hope so! :-wow I personally have not seen it yet. I am thinking of going to our K-Mart to check it out though. After all, it has a Cathe vid in it. (Which I ALREADY have! ;-))

The 14" step I referred to is actually a stool that I use just for leg presses. I have an 8" step for regular stepping.

You probably already bought it, but I'll post anyway.
I got a small step too since it was cheaper ($50 though, not $21!) I really wish I had a longer one, but since my step is good enough, I'll stick with it. If you love step, I'd go for a longer, sturdier step. But $21 is cheap!
