I need some doggie advice

I have a smiliar situation. I have an 8 year old chow and a 1 1/2 year old chow. They don't sleep with us, but on the week-end I have always let the older one in bed to nap with me. Now that the younger one can be trusted to not jump out of bed, I let her nap with me too. I can tell the older one would prefer if it were just the two of us, but I just can't let the little one feel like a second class citizen.

The older dog has had to make some adjustments, as she's not an only "child" anymore! So be it. She does have lots of fun with the new puppy.

I was thinking the same thing. Three Wandering Weiner Dogs sounds like a title for a country song. What a picture.

Hey, I work with a guy who has four cats and four dogs (two boxers and two bull mastifs). He told me a story about how one night his wife was in bed, reading, with the two mastifs and one of the cats on the bed. I had tears rolling down my face as he told about how he TRIED to get into the bed without disturbing anyone (one dog was watching out of the corner of his eye, without lifting his head and both dogs refused to budge an inch). Funny as it was that would be the point where I'd have to push all the animals off.

Poor Rascal:-(
Boxers have that pathetic look down pat. I think the males are the worst.
I changed my avatar to Maximus. He's a big cuddle bear. A real mama's boy too!

I don't have any advice for you Laura but we have 2 dogs, and the one Freddie doesn't like to sleep on the bed at all. He sleeps on his doggy bed on the floor he 8yo also. Now Joe he's a dfferent story. Gotta be on the bed all stretched out. Winter time comes he wants to be covered with a blanket. He is such a big baby dog:)
Not to mention I always think DH is snoring but alas it is always Joe:7

Gayle, (((healing hugs to Rascal))):)
