I need Help.....Too Many DVD's to Choose From!!!!

Have been doing P90X and need a change. Looking for a GOOD full body muscle workout as well as a grueling aerobic workout. More concerned with the upper body muscle workout as I feel the lower body gets a pretty good workout doing aerobics. Not too crazy about a complicated step routine ( I am a Guy) , something simple but with a step is OK. With all these DVD's to choose from, I need help. This will be for both me and my wife. How about Body Max 2...would this fit the bill? Thanks for the help!!!!!

DVD Recommendations

Welcome to the forums! Based on what you like, I suggest Muscle Max (for a good total body weight workout with more emphasis on upper body than lower body) and Drill Max. Drill Max is a circuit workout as produced, but it has several cardio premixes (including an ultra cardio blast premix that is a little over an hour long as well as shorter cardio premixes). It consists of athletic drills with no fancy choreography. I personally adore Body Max 2, but I love moderate to complex choreography. It is less intricate and dancy than Rhythmic Step, but it may be more complex than what you enjoy. I suggest watching a video clip before ordering Body Max 2 if you do not like choreographed step workouts. The Body Max 2 upper body work is fun but done on a stability ball, so you will not be able to lift as heavy as usually do.

The Boot Camp/Muscle Endurance DVD is another good one. Muscle Max has better upper body work than Muscle Endurance. As the name suggests, Muscle Endurance is a muscle endurance workout with lighter weights and higher reps. Boot Camp is a circuit workout with only 8 minutes of cardio. Based on what you want, I recommend Muscle Max and Drill Max. Be sure to watch video clips before you order.

Check out the video clip for Kick Max too. It has a very challenging blast segment if you like high impact. I love it!

A good cardio workout is definetly Kick Punch and Crunch and it comes
with Legs and Glutes.
Boot Camp is fun and that comes with Muscle Endurance. The Terminator DVD is awesome. 3 terrific circuit workouts.
Pyramid Upper Body is great. Low Impact Circuit and Drill Max are also great and easy to pick up, also both have upper body work.
Body Max 2 is fun, but a little more complex in my opinion. Good upper body work and ab work though. Also Body Max 1, on the Power Hour DVD is a good older workout and Power Hour is good weight workout, there is Maximum Intensity Strength on there also.
And with most of these workouts you get premixes to add tons of variety.

Whatever DVD's you choose you won't go wrong Cathe is fun and motivating. Her team is great and so is she.

My all time favorites are the Gym Style workouts.. They are my favorites.You have cardio , high and low impact, split weights and Muscle max total body .You can really change up the weights..
I do really like Low impact circuit,body max 2 and Butts and guts the most of the new ones...
I prefer Body max 2 to imax 3
Low impact circuit is an easier of Cathe Step...
I might add i have them all. One series at a time.
As a man you would like bootcamp...

Those are great choices. I think Drill Max is one of the best, most effective, yet FUN! workout Cathe has put togeter. The Pyramids are also really effective, particularly if you are looking for a straight lifting routine.
