Anybody wanna do a rotation with me? Im not sure what everyone's next rotation will be but I'd love to join someone and sort of do one together...I could use the encouragement, accountability, and I think it would be cool to share our success with it. I have most of Cathe's dvds and enough from other instructors to sub if I had to. Any takers?

Hi Wendy,

Any rotation really...right now my focus is fat loss and im guessing any rotation will do (right?) Looking for something to stay committed to for 4 weeks.

I've been all over the place for several weeks now. I was enjoying the freedom of NOT being committed to a rotation. I was doing a week of this, a few days of that. It's been fun! :)

Anyway, I was going to start a week of Barry's Boot Camp tomorrow but would extend that to 4 weeks if you have it and want to go that route.

There's also Cathe's Pyramids, 4DS or the GS Series....

I also need to re-visit Amy's Slo Mo Challenge some time soon as I've had the DVD for months and have only done the work outs one time each!

Any of these sound remotely appealing to you? I am figuring we can pick the weight routine as our base and then build a rotation from there. :)

Dont have Barry's Boot Camp (sounds interesting tho) I've got Cathe's pyramids and GS series...no 4DS yet...I wouldn't mind Amy's Slo Mo Challenge...I've never used her weight training workouts so I'd have to buy the dvd but no big deal. Never tried a one body part a day routine...but I'm open to whatever you wanna do :)

Well I haven't done GS in a while so why don't we do that? We can do it as produced for ease of use or break it up further into a 4 day split or one body part per day if you want.

Any preference?

How does this sound?

Monday GS Chest and Triceps plus Abs

Tuesday GS Legs (maybe followed by a 30 min light run?)

Wednesday GS Back Shoulders and Biceps plus Abs

Thursday off

Friday Cardio

Saturday Circuit (plus Abs if circuit doesn't include it)

Sunday Cardio

Yikes, I really need a looser rotation schedule. I tend to have to juggle things around alot due to work and my DS.

Would you mind if we each created our own rotation using the GS series and a circuit each week plus whatever abs and additional cardio we wanted? This way we'd be doing the same basic thing and could hold each other accountable yet not have to struggle to get a specific work out in if it doesn't fit well in our schedule that day.

I feel bad asking this but unfortunately it's how I kind of have to operate with my work outs.

If you'd rather do a true set rotation with someone, I'll totally understand and bow out. You tell me. :)

Also, before I forget...I am running a half marathon on Sunday May 4th and would prefer not to start a month long rotation until that is done and I'm recovered from it. I'd probably be looking to start this around May 7th (wed).

Yes, you can hit me with a rubber mallet now for being a pain in the you know what. :p

Seriously, please tell me if I'm being too difficult. I won't be offended at all. :)

lol I'm sorry. I'm a stay at home mom so I've got alot of time on my hands. I never considered the fact that others may have busier lives and go to work everyday lol DUH!!! and I'm not gonna kick you to the curb over a rotation...that's just silly:p So I've met a runner huh? That's awesome. Good luck with your marathon May 4th. I'd like to start running again on a regular basis....

Sundays are my off days so I normally start on Monday but they say change is good right? Do you mind coming up with a less demanding rotation? I'd kinda feel outta sync if we weren't doing the same thing on the same days...I want to be able to vent about DOMS with GS Legs and we be on the same page...I hope I'm not being to analx(

Or we could just forget the whole thing...do our own workouts and check in with each other once and awhile. Just looking for some extra support. Either way I thank you for responding and who knows...I may end up running a marathon with you one day:)

Hey. Thanks for not bootin' me right away but ya might after this post...LOL

Once next month's work schedule comes out we can work on a rotation. Willing to wait? It should come out soon! Until then I don't know how my free time will be laid out. I am actually a SAHM as well but I work a few mornings a week in my gym's babysitting room. I bring my son to work with me. :) They are only 3 hour shifts 2/3 times per week but it's amazing how this little job makes such a big difference time wise for me!

I am starting to prefer the one body part a day rotation personally. It allows for lots of room to play. If I miss a work out, I can double up the body parts to easily catch up but considering at most, a body part will only take 20 minutes to work (well, except for legs), it's easy NOT to miss it! After that I would probably add cardio in about every other day and abs on the days I am not doing cardio. That is the kind of rotation I would create if given the choice. Except for my runs which need to be done on my off days at work, I usually leave my cardio open to be chosen that day. I leave abs open as well so that I can choose what I want to do that day. My off day/days change depending on my mood/schedule/plans I have. Is this type of rotation not anal enough for you? ;)

So you used to run? Why did you stop?

I discovered running a couple of years ago and absolutely adore it. I make sure I run once per week to keep my endurance in check. The only time I usually run more then once or twice per week is when I am training for a bigger race (10+ miles). This will be my 2nd half marathon. I'm excited. After this I will be training for an 18 miler in October. Ofcourse, my ultimate goal is a full marathon for 2009! }(
