I need a distraction

Shellers --

This weekend...hmmm...since I'm FINALLY getting over being SICK for 3 freakin' weeks...I'm gonna try not to take my frustration/irritation out on everyone around me.

More specifically -- these are my plans:

Friday night: No plans yet. Probably work late. Or take home random hot trainer from gym.

Saturday night: Football game with MBE. He's really got step up 'cause I'm getting bored of waiting around for his attention. Hello, I'm hot (and conceited to the 'most'est:)) and cannot be waiting around for a man to pay attention to me. Someone else will.

Sunday: Linner with my friend Connie and then massages at the spa. Then home for a snooze...since I'm pretty worthless after a massage.

Somewhere along the line I'm sure I'll eat some stuff: maybe pringles.

SHONIE MAHONEY!!! I'm glad you're feeling better, girl.

And yes, if that MBE won't step up, then you just pull one of those other hot guys waiting in the wings;)

I've never had a massage. Well, not one I've paid for;)

likes Shonie's way of thinking!!! Have you ever seen "Two can play that Game" with Vivica A. Fox? You should, it is hilarious!

Missy

Hey Missy --

Nope...haven't seen that movie but I like Vivica! Maybe I'll have to sashay over to the video store and pick up a copy for myself. I need some hilarity in my life. Although you girls seem to keep me cracking up on a consistent basis -- especially our dear Shelley. Love her sense of humor, candid quotes, and overall style...very likeable!

Overall, I think I have a bad attitude about boys right now -- AND THEY LOVE IT! Why, oh why, is that? Treat them like dirt...and they eat it up. Seem completely uninterested...and they cannot stop calling. Don't return their phone calls -- OMC ... they love you even more. What's wrong with them? Stupid fools.

Ah...I can see my 3 weeks of NOT working out has done wonders from the evil side of me. I'm so terrible I can barely stand myself.

Okay...look out ... I'm driving home now. DFW drivers beware: I will hit you with my rental car if you stay stopped at a GREEN light due to talking on your cell phone. Hello...I have places to go and people to hate. And if there's NOT an accident and there's NOT any construction -- WHY is there a traffic jam at the same time of day when the highways are normally clear? WTF? Did we all decide to leave at the same time for some unknown reason? Or is it the idiot on the cell phone at the GREEN light that's causing the backup? Yes, I truly understand the mental process behind road rage now. Good thing everyone in Texas is packin'

Cheers my dears,
Shonie

Hey SHonie! :)

I saw where you were driving a rental car. I hope you didn't have an accident. Nice to see you here again!

Hi ladies. I actually have off work tomorrow for the Bloomsburg Fair (which is a big thing in my area). So I'm thinking of taking my son there tomorrow to look at the animals, etc and eat some "BAD" food. LOL That is about all that I have planned. I really think that I"m going to be having this baby though - I really feel like I'm going to go anytime soon. And I really wanted to eat a gyro and some deep fried mushrooms/onions at the fair. }(
Because once baby arrives, it will be back to total clean eating and commitment for me.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi everyone! Other than a long bike ride on Saturday morning and church on Sunday, I have no plans for this weekend for once. Hurray! DH is taking the kids to an air show on Saturday and I've opted out this time so I might clean out some closets that desperately need it.

Becky, I loved your idea of a distraction. If Shelley doesn't like the Flintstones theme idea, maybe she can rewrite "Muskrat Love."

Shonie, did you ram your car into someone again in a fit of road rage? Is that why you have a rental? You know, girl, you can only do that so many times before "oh, Officer, I was totally distracted by your hunkiness" begins to look suspicious;)

OMC, Shelley, I will have to try that "officer" line :) I LIKE IT!

Although I've often been tempted to ram my car into someone in a fit of road rage -- I have yet to take any action in that regard. When I was in the parking lot of my local Lifetime Fitness -- a little teeny-bopper-barely-old-enough-to-drive chick ran into me while talking to her friend instead of watching where she was going. While I felt sorry for her at first (this was HER first accident and MINE too), she started to piss me off when she wouldn't talk and would only cry when I tried to ask her for her insurance information. If you're not old enough to respond to questions instead of crying like an immature little brat...well, then you don't need to be driving a car. So my car has been in the shop for 3 WEEKS now while I've been driving a crappy rental.

On second thought, maybe I'll just start claiming road rage when someone asks me why I'm driving a rental ;-) That's a better story.

I'm going to be a very dull girl this weekend. I'll be in my office preparing tax returns and doing other client work. I'm so behind on everything that clients are actually getting angry at me. Ouch!

I love the idea of Shelley putting new lyrics to the Flintstones song. We have our own Weird Shelley Yankovik. :+
