I know that you should eat a balanced diet. But do you think kicking some of the more refined starches is a good thing and focus on fruits and veggies instead?
And what about juice??
I am overwhelmed with people asking me about this and quite frankly would like to get MORE opinions on this. I have friends who are doing well on sugarbusters and others on different low carb things

thanks!

Low Carb No Sugar

I personally like low carb, no sugar eating. I couldn't loose 7 pounds that was hanging on and when I quit eating refined carbs (white bread, white rice, pasta), starchy veggies, and sugar. I lost the 7 pounds I was fighting. I ate fish, chicken, some meat, turkey, veggies (no corn or carrots), cheese, and eggs. After I lost the weight I wanted to I added some whole grain foods back in my diet, 100% whole wheat bread and rice, some fruit, and sometimes oatmeat. I am really careful not to eat products with too much sugar. I have found for me that low carb worked better than low fat.

As far as juice goes I know nothing. I don't drink them.

Hope this helps with the low carb question.

Susan

Thanks Susan.. this is a sugar buster type diet and sounds like it is reasonable

I think I might try this one
