Cathy - It sounds like you are having a very productive day. You deserve a nice rest after grading all of those papers. Have a great workout!

Only 1 1/2 hours left before I can go home. YEAH! Let the countdown begin. It is hard to believe that the week is 1/2 over and so is the month. This year is going by so quickly. Before you know it, spring will be here with warmer temperatures and the snow will be a distant memory. Is anyone already planning summer vacations?

Kristi :: thanks! I agree--the past couple of months have been zipping by. No plans for summer as of yet. I imagine I'll be working but haven't sorted that out yet. That's no fun, so I don't think about it. *lol* It'd be nice if we could pull off a cheetah GTG.
 
Being as how I was not around from Friday til yesterday, was a date or place decided upon for the GTG? I might be able to go, but I would have to see what is planned with my family first. It would be great to meet in person.

No, no date or place was set...Only some ideas were tossed out. Vegas, Chicago, and San Diego came up. Several folks said they'd prefer summer. Any ideas or preferences, please share! :)

gayle-kmart has the weighted gloves because I almost bought them but then I thought I could just hold my 1lb wts instead . I have bought so many new workouts I was thinking of saving the money.

several of us from work drove in because the CEO of the facility called my boss and gripped her out that nobody was there and that we needed to be there. anyway, I only worked 3 hrs and she told us to write down 8 on our time sheets for yesterday and today so I thought cool!

I managed to squeeze in ME before going into work so at least I got that out of the way.

cathy- My barr method workouts are suppose to arrive around the 21st. If they slim my thighs like that person that posted on the open forum says they do, I will definately buy the fluidity barr. I just wished that it wasnt so much! I think that is alot for a barre but if it will give me thin thighs and a tight round cellulite free bottom then I will get it!! or even close to that.

Laura :: I agree -- the price is steep! I know there's a 30-day money back guarantee, but I figured the Bar Method workouts would be a much more affordable way to gauge whether or not I'll like that style of workout. Since the Fluidity barre is so dang heavy, the back & forth shipping would be quite a chunk o' change if I wound up having to return it. BTW, why is it spelled "barre?!" That is driving me nuts! *lol* :) Nice deal on getting a full day's pay.

Hey there ladies!:)

So my legs are toast from y'day's work out! At some point this morning my quads decided to pay me back for what I did to them and man oh man do they hurt now! }( }( }( I am supposed to take a spin class in the morning but that could change to the kickboxing class real quick if my legs still hurt! LOL

B&B today went better then last week. I think I lifted too heavy too fast last week. By the time I was nearing the end of my work out my strength was zapped and I couldn't even pull *LIGHT* weights successfully on the strip set curls. x( So today I lowered my weights down one increment on all bicep work. It really helped. I was able to do the strip set curls today. Ofcourse, now the lightest weights felt too easy so I may have to start them one increment heavier next time! LOL

Okay, I'm off to grab a cup of coffee and then spend some time with my Valentine before we both fall asleep! LOL

All this talk of PH made me want to do that one, so that's what I just finished minus the abs.

Wendy :: you are the Queen of DOMS, girl!...I upped my weights for the squats and lunges tonight, so I may be your sister in pain tomorrow...we'll see!

Susan :: the shirt looks great on you! Thanks for the posting the pic ~ you are one superfit cheetah!! :)

Wendy-I'll be joining your and Cathy's DOMS club tomorrow! LOL. After my killer PLB and run this morning, I'm already so very sore! I've got a 4 mile easy run scheduled for tomorrow, but I may be moving it. I'm FOR SURE doing the kickbox/UB mish mosh you sent me. We'll see how my legs handle that moving!

See you all tomorrow! We've got a 2 hour delay posted on our school's site already, so I know I have a slow morning tomorrow. That means a LONG workout! YEAH!

Wendy, I ran 3 miles last week and my hams were acting up, so I have not since. I will have to start a lot slower next time, which will probably be next week.
