I have about $100 to spend, which Cathe DVD?

Can anyone recommend the best DVD from Cathe? I have read alot of pros and cons on the STS, I want to try some other DVD's before I spend the $299+. I don't need anything cardio as I have that covered with cycling, swimming and walking. I have a really bad knee and can't do any jumping, plyo or step. I can do any of the weights. I also would like a great core workout. I have dumbbells, bar, ball and band but no incline or squat rack. Also upper bod workout. Thanks for any help/suggestions you can offer.
 
Well, it's definetely a matter of opinion and depends on exactly what you're looking for. There aren't any Cathe DVD's that I don't like. They all offer something different and challenging. The pyramid upper and lower body is great because it's two complete workouts- one upper body, one lower. The gym style DVDs are great, but focus more on a couple specific muscle groups. For example- gym style back, shoulders, biceps rather than hitting more muscle groups in pyramid. I love butts and gutts which focuses on the legs and glutes and muscle max which is another total body. Many of the DVD's have ab segments on them so I would suggest reading the descriptions on the websites. You may also want to consider Ab circuits which offers 7 seperate ab workouts on one dics.
 
I'm sorry to say I like all Cathe weight dvd's but I would buy STS. It is such a complete series, you would never need any additional dvd's.
 
Thanks for your input. This info will definitely help. I think I may go for the pyramids, the glutes, and maybe and ab. If all goes well I can spring for the STS.
 
I love the Pyramids and Gym Styles. I have Butts and Guts would probably just get Gym Style Legs and Glutes instead if I were doing it again. For full-body weight training - I like Push-Pull and Power Hour (but it is bundled with a cardio workout so I don't have it, just do the FitTV version). I'm aiming for Muscle Max next. Good luck picking your dvds. I like Core Max a lot too.

LOVE Muscle Max. IMO Cathe's best whole body ST workout. Honestly I don't like some of the STS workouts, some of the exercises just don't feel "right" to me, but I love everything on Muscle Max and always go to back to this one.
 
I'd get Muscle Max for sure. It's an amazing and fun total body workout and has good premixes. Then I'd probably get Pyramids (love that one, especially the upper body), and a Core DVD (either Core Max or the STS Abs DVD). That should give you a really solid foundation with lots of pre-mix options.
