Morning Haters and Pushers!

I did ME today. It was pretty fun. As much as I don't like doing legs, I actually sort of like the leg presses (and you need to 'cause there are lots in there!).

I also designated today's lunch as my cheat meal.

Don't get mad at me. I went to the health store to buy asparagus (and look for barley :D which I couldn't figure out again x( ) and saw a really yummy-looking box lunch. It had all sorts of veggies, fish, one piece of candied yam and brown rice...I know, I know, well at least it wasn't white rice, eh? It totally hit the spot and I'm very satisfied.

You know, I've come to the realization that I really don't have the desire to eat crap right now. Again, very strange...and very nice. :)

And this morning was my weekly check up. Care to know the results? No? Well, I'll tell you anyway. ;)

I got the same results that I did the first week!! How wacky is that? That means :

Fat lost = 1.2 pds
Muscle lost = 1.3 pds

Hmmm. I'm not even eating the caloric intake I can be eating for maximum results (1450cal...I'm eating up towards 1600cal). But if I up my calories much more, I'll be at what's supposed to be my maintenance level.

But you know, what with pushups coming up, I might need those extra calories...}(

Is everyone still on vacation? (No vacation over here.)

Actually, I'm here again because I just read the previous Hate and wanted to congratulate Michele on reaching her GOAL!! Good for you! Woo WOo WOOO! :7 :7 :7 !

I am off today. There is a practice for the school talent show. The K girls (10 of them) are doing a Hilary Duff song. Very cute.
I got up too late this morning. Too much fun yesterday. The bar-b-que was fun but now I have eaten way too much and TODAY I begin my crusade to lose 15.

How do you get those measurements of fat and muscle loss?

Well I should just come on here every morning/afternoon and haunt you all! LOL! Not much cardio for me for this rotation that I am on. Going thru my bulking cycle now.

Hey, Charlotte, long time no see! How's your new work going?

I'm getting my measurements of weight/body fat from the dreaded Tanita scale. I know they are notorious for inaccuracy, but it's all I've got for now, so I'm using it more as a monitor of up and down. I'm following BFFM now, and have been for the past three weeks. It feels totally like a game - eat the best I can, workout the best I can,...and then see if I get a good score at the end of the week! I've never been more serious to change my body in my life.

I've heard you've made some awesome rotations - do you have them posted somewhere?

Can't stay long...DH is waiting. I have no clue what we're doing today but we might go to a movie. It's stinking hot and humid here--UGH! I have LIS but haven't done it yet, DH and I walked about 2 miles today and it included a couple of killer hills.

August, I have no clue what's going on with your measurements, but 1400 cals doesn't sound like enough to me. Maybe you need to ^ your cals. Try it for a couple of weeks and see what happens. Well, if you're REALLY happy eating that non cheat food for your cheat meal then have at it--sheesh. I'll eat a cinnamon roll for you--lol!

TOASTY!!!!! We have missed you. I thought you bailed on us. I want a rotation with no cardio--wah! I hope you'll stop by more often. We need someone around here to kick our butts:7

Kate, have a good time at the kiddie show. I'm glad the barbecue went well. That sounds wonderful. We're thinking about grilling out if the weather holds up. There's a good chance of thunderstorms today, though:-(

I'm going to begin my push up journey with the negatives that Cathe described in the Ask Cathe forum. I think someone pasted it into our thread the other day. If you gals are interested but can't find the post let me know. I may have bookmarked it.

Honeybunch has some great pointers on Push-ups in Open Forum. Ooooh, she is tough, but I do need some upper body strength and six months of working out my triceps has done nothing. Fingers crossed.
