Hi, guys!
You know, one thing is damn plain clear - you guys ain't never had a good bowl of sticky rice! LOL!
I have KPC lined up for my next workout. That means one thing to me - banana oatmeal egg white pancake recovery meal. YES! :9
And I've discovered that I also have Kick Max later this week - and we all know what that means! I'm committed to doing 2 blasts!
And...what the?!...Body Max is also on my rotation this week. And we all know what that means, too. (Fear/some self-disgust .)
Diane - I'm so sorry to hear about Lucy and that you had to put her down earlier than you thought you would. You made the right decision. That must have been such a difficult decision - knowing it's the right thing to do, yet wanting to hold on longer. It's good to hear that the emergency pet hospital staff were kind. Good for you to look to the future with your upcoming new kitten. Like Dana said, I'm sure she won't replace Lucy, but will bring such a warm comfort to your home. Ooh, I love Kate's idea of taking two!
Michele - How's your sight? Ahh, new glasses needed, eh? Get some cool ones! What in the world is a "gliding" workout? Is this some form of cardio that I should be looking into? Sounds easier than stepping. Anyway, good to hear you're feeling inspired.
Dana - I've been living in Japan now for nearly ten years and love it. Oh, I hear you about GS. Only, it was the legs one that really got me. The DOMS were so bad that I wondered if I should go see a doctor! LOL! Really! I guess I'd never experienced them that bad before. I literally couldn't stand up straight - talk about Fit to Sit or whatever it's called LOL. How obnoxious about CCIS and their not calling you back. That would really be evil if it has something to do with the Wednesday deadline....Oh wait, I just got to your 2nd post. Great news about CCIS! Yeah! :7
Kate - If I love sticky rice and it's not good for me then yes - LOL! Actually, the thing is, when I wasn't eating this healthy, I never craved it. Personally, I've always thought of myself as a chocoholic, but now that I'm eating so clean, I find myself craving weird things that I never used to crave - like a Subway Tuna sandwich. Uncanny. I might have to force myself to have the cinnamon roll. Well, maybe not force...Ugh, insterstitial cystitis - that is whacked. Then again, doing Leaner Legs AND Turbo Jam on the same day is also whacked ;-) . Maybe that insterstitial cystitis is a good thing! Actually, what with all the water I take in, I'm in the bathroom most of the day anyway! Oh, and keep ignoring those dummies who tisk you when you use the special toilets. My dad had a heart condition, so he always used to use the special parking spaces and we'd get the tisks from time to time - so unkind and so unthinking.
Jana - Hahah, when I read KFC, for a second I was trying to figure out which Cathe workout that was. You know, a couple years ago I was "fortunate" to catch a news report - it was a ten-second shot from a hidden camera of three men "tending" to chickens that would be used for restaurants, specifically KFC. The cruel things these men were doing to the chickens was enough to make me sick to my stomach and from that moment on, I vowed never to eat KFC again. Hope I didn't bum out anyone with that gem of a post.
I do eat lots of chicken breast...organic...where they treat the chickens um, nicely. :+
All right, so in closing, I'll tell you that I took my weekly measurements to see how my first week on BFFM went.
Please, quiet in the audience. Drum roll please.
1.2 pounds of fat loss and 1.3 pounds of muscle loss. YEAH! BOO! ;( YEAH! BOO! ;( I've referred to the book and it tells me that if this is the result I have in the first week, to just give it another week and see what happens.
Hopefully my upcoming cinnamon roll cheat meal will assist in my keeping that muscle on this week...

P.S. I'm going to try to stop writing such marathon posts. It must be awful to wake up to so many words.
