I Hate Cardio - July 23rd

I'm at work again. I was able to go to the wedding yesterday, when ended up being one of the more horrible wedding ceremonies I have ever been too. The bride's family was really wealthy, but the bride I guess did not have much taste... Also, I think the minister was performing his first wedding ceremony, because it was long, babbling, and he brought up sex and affairs a few too many times for my taste. He was talking about love triangles, eyeing younger girls, it was pretty insane, and this is a very conservative group of people. Several times DH and I almost burst out laughing because he said such inappropriate things. It was horrible!

Anyway, working again today, hopefully be finished with everything this afternoon so that I can go home and go for a quick jog.

I've had a crazy, busy weekend. I did my cardio on Friday and nearly passed out--lol! The important thing is that I got through it, albeit at a modified level. DH and I are leaving shortly to see a movie.

Diane, that wedding ceremony sounds like fodder for a comdey. OMG! The bride and groom must've been horrified! I'm sorry you have to work today. It sounds like you're not having a very relaxing weekend. I hope you can finish up at the office in time to salvage something of the day.

Kate--I loved, loved, LOVED the title of the thread yoiu started yesterday. You are such a character! I'm sorry about all you're going through with the high heat and needing to drink up. I imagine that can make for a rather sleepless night, especially with your history.

Wow, what a wedding ceremony. I love weird stuff, I probably would have loved it.
Freakin' heat. It was 115 degrees yesterday and we couldn't get the house below 90. ARRRRRRGGGGGGHH
I am dying here people. And when one is feeling really bad, what does one do? ONE DOES LEANER LEGS!!!!!!
Someone just come to CA and take me out of my misery will ya? I also did the floor portion of GS Legs, boy that was a cakewalk compared to LEANER LEGS!!!
And some upper body and then I fell over (two hours ago) and I just got up off the floor.
Thank you for the sympathy Michele, you are so sweet (and the rest of ya too but where are you?....Diane and Michele are here).

I am going to go hose myself off. Everyone have a great day!

Kate - Go open the door of your freezer and just stand there, that is always a good trick. When I lived in Boston for a short time and I had not central air conditioning during the summer, I would go the the movies or the mall just to cool off. Could not sleep a wink either, it was aweful. :( I can't imagine doing Leaner Legs in that heat, you are nuts. :p

Another funny quote from the wedding - Minister was saying that the couple was not prideful, and goes on to say: "Y'all are just kinda there, not ever the center of attention..." Then I think he realized that he basically said that there is nothing extraordinary about this couple and no one notices them, so then went on to say "Although you are never the center of attention, you have a strong presence". I almost burst out laughing. Those are direct quotes, I am not kidding.
