Hello Ladies!
Wow, I'm very surprised I am the first one posting today. Where is everyone?
I got home last night and was just too tired to work out, so I didn't. Today I am planning a 30 min run/walk after work, and then we are going out to one of my fav restaurants with DH's family. Jana, have you been to Backstreet Cafe? Love that place.
Today is yucky weather in Texas, raining and hail in some areas. There was softball size hail near my parents house, lots of cars and property destroyed. Luckily my parents did not have to be on the road.
So lately I have been really slacking on my weight lifting (even though I am a true cardio hater, weird). I have been very busy and have really only been doing my 30 min run 4 times a week. I think I really try to make time for the run as opposed to the weight lifting because I am "in training" for the half marathon. I know in my head that I won't be able to run it unless I keep on schedule, so it is great motivation to keep going. However, I haven't found that motivation with weight lifting right now when I am really busy. Any ideas? I need some goals. Something that will make me make time for my workout. I was thinking something like a push up goal, since I still do sissy pushups on my knees. But that won't really help for the rest of my body.
