I Hate Cardio Check-in, 3/23

Don't worry, I will make sure to get in my 30 min run/walk tomorrow!! I don't want to get in trouble. I just get home from work so late most of the time that I eat dinner around 8 pm or later and then need a couple of hours to unwind. Before you know it, it is midnight.
 
Diane, I love your picture trail. My gosh, you and your entire wedding party could've done a photo shoot for Bride's Magazine! Your house is lovely, too. I've seen the wallpaper with the monkey's. I love it!

Hey, really, I understand about your schedule. I'm fortunate that I don't have to worry about a job anymore (I quit working a couple of years ago), but my DH works some atrocious hours and he can rarely squeeze in a work out.

Yes, Charlotte, I hate cardio, too! The only thing that do like is running outdoors. Don't like the treadmill...I suffer through step (very uncoordinated...can't even spell that word right now!!) I prefer kickboxing for my cardio, but I always want to reach for my weight DVDs. I feel more "worked out" when I do weights.

Jenn, I missed your post earlier. Congrats on your 1.5 mile run.

You guys, I am really proud of us! We've been pretty good for a group of girls that hate cardio. I think we can all come before the Cathe crowd with our heads held high.

Ok.. I finally did my dreaded cardio! I was totally going to blow it off, but something just wouldn't let me!! I didn't want to have to report on the thread that I missed it...so LIS is done!!


This thread is very important to keeping me accountable!!
 
WOO HOO!!! Way to go, Ellen. I know exactly what you mean about the accountability attached to this thread. I felt really terrible Monday when I didn't complete my cardio. I'm very thankful though, to have a group of women that totally understand the hardship of getting through the work out. I mean, man, I really hate it!
