I had too much fun this weekend

I ate lots of delicious food, drank beers, did a lot of walking and bike-riding, even ate a hot dog and tortilla chips last night. :D Didn't call in for a single message or even glance at a tax journal.

Feel like a train wreck this morning. :( My lower back is hurting, I have a tummy ache, and I don't see how I'm going to fit into my regular work clothes.

Does anyone else have trouble going back to work after a long weekend? I feel like it's going to be a wasted day. :(

I'm glad you had a great weekend, Nancy. Sorry you feel rotten this morning though.

I have trouble going back to work after a REGULAR weekend, so after a long weekend it's even worse!:p
 
haha I hear ya Nancy. My gym didnt have my regular classes all this weekend, so when I went to put my fav skirt on yesterday to go watch firworks...it was tight!:( eek! I then just wanted to sit in front of my tv and hide. oh well. cant wait to get back to it today.
 
I am glad you had a great weekend Nancy. I ate too much and too many things that are big no-no's. Like brats, m&m's (plain, peanut and crispy), macaroni salad, some cookie salad, pasta salad, brownines, fruit with fruit dip, ugh! Everyone left the leftovers too. I think I will have my inlaws over for supper tonight to help get rid of them. We still have burgers and brats. The only bad part of the weekend is that I have had to take benadryl all weekend. I must have gotten into something since I have nice big welts (hives or whatever) all over. I am trying to get in to see the doctor now but he is booked and I have to wait to talk to the doctor. Other than that is was a great weekend. I just itch!! LOL!! :)
 
i ate bbq and chips and cobbler and MORE bbq and right after we did fireworks i started paying for it. my stomach was violent all evening and today i am eating clean only!!! i plan on this until the roadtrip....NO MORE CHEATING!

Oh, man, me too! I ate too many sweets, which makes me feel really good at the time, but leaves me totally depressed afterward. Not depressed because I feel guilty. I don't. It was planned. I've been a good girl. I deserved a break. Just depressed from no longer being on that chemical high, I think. I did go for a couple of bike rides, but my eating was BAD. Don't know why I can't remember that this happens every time I plan one of these free days. It really isn't worth it, but I always seem to forget that until afterward.

I have no idea. We were pulling weeds in our garden and flower beds. I sure hope it is not poison ivy. I get to see the doctor in 1 1/2 hours unless the sweet receptionist calls sooner. I can only hope! :)

I hope you are starting to feel better! :)
 
Ditto on the indulgences. I did manage to swim and hike but don't know that those were enough to combat the brownies, the lasagna, the Fritos, the banana cream pie, the wine, and a delicious, evil little drink called Mike's Hard Lemonade. I had never had one of these until this Saturday and man were they GOOD. I certainly made up for lost time...

Oh yeah! I hear you! I went to TWO BBQ's this weekend and ate and drank way too much (I try to avoid wine for that reason - it takes away my inhibitions against eating everything in sight!). I stepped on the scale - after a weekend of indulgance and about had a heart attack :eek: . That coupled with the fact that there was NO WAY I could do my 5AM workout this morning (why are fireworks so late???), so I'm sitting at work feeling like a huge beached whale. Brought my gym clothes and due to scheduling conflicts won't be able to take my normal Tuesday class, but I'm going as soon as I can and I'm going to climb that stairway to h*ll (you know - the one that has the steps that just keep going and going...) for 45 minutes. It will come off. No point in over obsessing on it... LOL:7

Cookie salad:

2 boxes vanilla instant pudding
2 cups buttermilk

mix these two together then add:

sm cool whip
lg can mandrian oranges (drained)
lg can pineapple tidbits (drained)
Keebler fudge stripe cookies-broken up

Stir it all together then refrigerate. Yummy!!
 
Those of you who are planning to work out today, good for you! My goal for the day is to make it through the work day and crawl home to bed.
