I had an angel.

On my way down to our vacation, we stopped at a fast food resturant to use the restroom. I took my wallet with me to the restroom and sat it on one of those tissue containers. On our way about 20 minutes from the resturant, I noticed I didn't have my wallet. I started crying and told my husband I left it. I had every bit of our vacation money in the wallet. In cash also! I had so many things running through my mind. We turned around and got there to find that the manager had my wallet. I was so relieved and everything was untouched.Well to finish this up, and 13 year old girl found this and turned it in. If it had of been a dishonest person, it would have been gone. I wish she had of been there when I came to get it. I hope something really good happens for her due to her honesty.

Well didn't mean to make this a book, but just had to share how scary that was. I have never been so scared!

How lucky for you! That's wonderful! I had a similar experience where I left my wireless handheld device in a restroom at the Chicago airport and didn't realize it. Fortunately the person that had the stall after me tracked me down at my gate!!

I had something similar happen to me at a horseshow. I took my cell phone off and laid it on top of the tissue holder. I have this phobia about dropping my cell phone in the toilet. Anyway, I left it and didn't realize until I was back down at the arena and DH handed me his phone... it was DD... she said "mama, you left your cell phone in the bathroom and someone turned it in the office". About that time I heard my name paged. Apparently DD had called my cell phone and someone in the office answered. They didn't know whose it was until DD called the phone and told them my name (after she figured out why a stranger was answering her mama's phone).... LOL....

Whew! What a great story...in these trying times we live in, we need these kind of stories to renew our faith in the human race. Yup...you had an angel!

Oh wow Kim. That is awesome. Don't you worry. That little girl will be blessed for her good deed. It's nice to know there are still some people in the world who do the "right thing". Glad you got your wallet back. Losing something like that is a heartsinking feeling. Glad it worked out!:D

Oh and I believe you must be doing some pretty good things yourself. That's why you got it back.;-)

Wow! You are one lucky girl you had such an honest person find your wallet. Yes. She will be repaid somehow. I believe so. Isn't it wonderful to hear about these deeds?
