I GOT IT!!! WHOOPEEE!!!

Yes, I finally got my TIMEX Speed and Distance GPS watch!!
I am so excited to take it outside and start measuring!!! Today we are going to hike/run in the mountain preserve and see what the distance is. The only problem I have now is I cannot decide whether I want to bike, rollerblade, run, or hike!!! I never measure distances or speed so this little trinket will be really cool..when I go out and rollerblade it will measure your distance traveled, best pace, average pace, current pace...isn't that cool!! When I go hiking I can measure distance even on steep mountains!!

A little non-Cathe present for me for X-mas. One of my many "toys"!! Bun and Thigh Rocker here I come..(after the weighted vest!!)...gotta replenish the funds first though!!!

Ok, Ok...nobody cares, BUT my gadget worked GREAT!! Very accurate!! DH and I did 5 mile run hike today and it was fabulous!! Mid 60's in Phoenix and totally blue skies!! We even left the GPS on in the car and measured what it said against the spedometer and it was very accurate!! Highly recommend this for anyone that cares about speed or distance..

That sounds like a VERY cool toy! I didn't even know they existed! I also didn't know you lived out west too. I keep this info in the back of my head...just in case

I got a watch similar to that for x-mas too. I have not tried it yet. With all the enthusiasm and great reviews you gave on it, I am going to figure out how to use mine.
