I got a step!

I finally got a step. (I've been doing all my Cathe stuff on the floor). I just had to try it out this morning even though I wasn't planning to work out until after work.

First thing I noticed - it felt really good on my lower back and my knees. I was not expecting that. I'm so happy. :)

I'm excited about working out again. I was really worried for a while there because my knees were bothering me (pushed myself too hard doing the Step Blast challenge one night - my knees felt weak and I was afraid I might injure them so I backed off my workouts).

Now that I have a step, I'm going to stick to the more basic Cathe workouts for a while and work my way up.

Just wanted to share my renewed excitement. :)

I am getting my first step in the mail today! Several new Cathe step videos should be delivered today too! I got the Classics, Imax2 + Cardio and Weights, and Lowmax. So I share in your renewed excitement to exercise. I can't wait to try it out tonight, and I will probably do several of the step workouts this weekend. I am going to start with the Classics and learn some of the moves first, and then try out Imax 2 and Lowmax. I heard the step in Cardio and Weights is not too complicated either.

I have been doing Cathe's weight training and kickboxing videos for a couple of years, but have never done step before. I can't wait to get home!

Have fun with your new toy!

Hi Diane! I love Low Max and Cardio and Weights. Imax2 is too advanced for me, I'm afraid. As far as learning step moves, Basic Step and Body Fusion is good, as well as Low Impact Circuit. I'm going to be sticking to those for a while, then go to Step Blast and Rhythmic Step, both of which are a lot of fun even without a step (but then again, I like complicated, dancey choreography).

Yay for new toys!

:)
