I forgot how much I enjoyed Steady State Step!

I have always loved step aerobics and have done it for many many years. However over the past 6months or so I was more focused on cardio workouts like tabatacise, hard strikes, HiiT, etc (still love those also).

I started a homemade rotation Sunday and won't repeat a single exercise in the 3 month rotation. (That tells you how many Cathe DVDs I own.....). I did Imax3 and Step Blast this week and just fell in love all over again with steady state step. The hour flew by and I just enjoyed the music and constant movement and focusing on the moves.

I think my favorites are Imax 2 & 3, Step Blast, Cardio Fusion, & Body Max2. I can't wait for Cathe's two new step videos. Especially if they use well-known songs. I get an even better workout because I (try to) sing along during the workout.
 
I couldn't agree more! I am excited because the rotation I am doing cause for IMAX 3 tomorrow! I was looking forward to it so much my DVD player has IMAX 3 in it ready to go. I love steady state step that isn't too complicated and fun with great music! I can not wait for more step DVDs!

I am also REALLY looking forward to doing a bunch of older DVD's when I finish my rotation in 4 weeks. Especially the ones you mentioned!! I did do Low Impact Challenge today and it was great, but I long to do the older ones too.

Yup, and those new ones coming out? the step workouts will be the first ones I try! It will be like Christmas in July (that is, if we get em by then) :D
 
I LOVE steady-state step. Cathe's step workouts are so much fun. I do at least one each week. I always do my own rotations, so I make sure to add in a SS step workout every week because it's my absolute favorite type of workout. I enjoy HIIT, tabata, aerobic intervals, and metabolic training also, but I don't think I'll ever stop doing steady state step. I've been doing it since the 90s. I recently started doing some her oldest step workouts like Step Jam and Power Max and they are awesome. So much fun! I try to keep a variety of workout styles in my weekly rotations. With all the variety Cathe has to offer, I never get bored.
