I finally got a High Step!

I thought I would share!!

Most of you know I will be move to Germany (Grafenwoehr) on Sep.17! I have been going back and forth on buying a high step for the last few months! With all of the expenses I had the last few month, I was putting the high step on hold!!

Last night was my DH (he is active duty!) farewell form the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy here in Fort Bliss! The wives from the Academy bought me a high step and 3 Cathe's DVD's as a farewell gift (among other things)! I can't believe they did that!! This was really a nice suprise! My friend Anita, whom I have known for seven years, has been asking me what I don't have form Cathe(she knows I workout with Cathe every day!)for the last few week?? She is so sneecky! I finally got a high step!! I am sooooo happy!

Not only is this one of the nicest gifts the military wives ever gave me, it is also the one that I will get the most use out of! I love it! I am sorry I am rampling on! I am really very happy! I can't wait to workout today! I am so excited!

Belinda~What a wonderful and very thoughtful gift! We KNOW you will use it! There are so many Cathe workouts that incorporate the HS. BTW, which Cathe workouts did they get you? Have FUN!!! You sooo deserve such a beautiful gift. Good Luck with the move. It was so nice to meet you & Alesia on the RT!!!!! BIG HUGS to you both!

Wow, what nice friends! I agree -- what a perfect gift that you will use and use and use!!!!!

My mom used to live in Grafenwoehr until she retired (civilan) last year! She loved it.

Hi,

She worked for the US Army as a graphic artist/designer. She and I actually lived in Zirndorf near Nurnberg for two years, then she moved to Grafenwoehr for the past 15 or so years. She loved it and misses it terribly.

How cool!

I can still remember Zirndorf. We lived upstairs from a wonderful German woman Frau Hacker. She didn't speak any English and we didn't speak any German (talk about funny stuff) but was just fabulous. She and her daughter spent Christmas dinner with us and would have us down for tea and treats. So many good memories!

My DH and I were able to go visit my mother in Grafenwoehr two times while she lived there. So I can just imagine your soon-to-be new town. :)

Hi Lorie,

I am doing the Aug.07 rotation! Since High Step Training Advanced is a real butt-kicker, it will fit in my rotation! I am so excited about my new High Step! Off to my workout!

That is so nice and a real testament to how much your friends care for you. I know they will miss you like crazy, but thank goodness for the internet and this forum which keep us all connected. :)
 
Hi Michelle,

real fiends are hard to come by in the military! You meet people one day and before you know it they're gone the next! I feel really lucky to have friends that care for me:) From the bottom of my heart I will miss them all! I always stay in touch as long as we have internet and a phone :D Which I can't live without}(
