I fell on my head

while doing the pike thing off PP for shoulders. First time I did it as I haven't did PP in a long time and was a newbie then so I know I didn't do that one. LOL! Anyhow, I got back up after I laughed at myself and tried again. Not sure if I had correct form since I can't see myself in that position, but did Cedie's modification as well just to make sure I was getting my shoulder work.

Just thought you all might want a laugh!

Hee hee! That's why I didn't do the pike thing the first time I did this workout either. :) (I've only done PP once... but now I know that next time I try it, I STILL won't be ready for the pike things!)

Is your head sore? :eek:
 
On nooo Charlotte! Sounds like you are okay. Glad you could laugh about it. I picture myself going all the way over when I do pikes. I have almost gone too high at times and felt like I was just going to go right into a somersault! Be careful!

Charlotte, I punched myself on the cheek once when learning how to do an uppercut. The bad thing was, I was in pain. The good thing was, I realized I could hit pretty hard and inflict pain if I have to.:) We all have our crazy moments. I'm wary of that exercise as well. Cathe's face is so flushed as she does that and teaches at the same time, so we all know that's pretty tough. Glad to know you're okay.:)

Only laughing because I've done it myself. Only with doing the pikes on the ball, and squashing my nose into the floor.
 
Uh, could someone tell me what Cedie's modification is please? i din't have that worklout, but i'd love to know so i could attempt it on the workouts i have with pikes;)

Oh I'm glad you're okay, Charlotte! Since you are....tee hee hee! Sounds like something I would do. I can be a numero uno klutz at times. I've almost fallen on my head twice now trying those crazy pikes on the ball :eek:

Thanks, that one gave me a great laugh! The ranks of the Klutz Klub are growing! This very morning I was doing IMAX2 and I went to do the figure eight that is part of one of the step routines and as I turned in the air I missed the step entirely for my landing! I didn't quite fall, but I did have to pause for a laugh;-)

Yup, that one was different for me and so was the experience. LOL!
Just a regular pike on the ball is so much easier than those for some reason. Don't know why, but the pikes to work shoulders feels like upside push ups. And ya'll know how I feel about push ups.
