I feel blah and boring

I have a "50 Things I Want to Do Before I Die" list, and whenever I feel blah and boring, I look at that list, decide on my next goal and go for it. Since I have a goal and something to look forward to, I may still be blah and boring, but at least it doesn't feel that way any more... :p

Actually the list has about 32 things right now and some have since been put aside as too ridiculous, but it's fun to look back and realize I once was stupid enough to want to do something - like Climb Everest.

I have keloid skin, (excess scar tissue) I was afraid this would happen. I would love to get me children's names (2) on my ankle but call me chicken!!
:D

Shelly

I was definitely feeling that way yesterday. Hmmm, with on- line shopping out how about some major furniture rearranging. Or planning your next room re-do?

How about plans for the new business? Can you do some brainstorming?

How about planning out your garden? I know you are interested in gardening....

Thanks Judy. It's not really that I'm bored. I have tons to do. I just feel like I'm about the most boring person on earth.

Shelley

I was just over at the body piercing thread - you are definitely NOT boring!!!

It's probably because you are from Ontario and you just THINK you need to be doing something all the time. Maybe you need to move to the West Coast where everyone is so laid back you'll feel like the life of the party;)

Uh,I also see ALLWILDGIRL at the top of your post - I am sure that means something! If you want to know boring, come on by and I'll tell you about my life:)

Lol! Need to separate, I am from Quebec and that sentence cracked me up!

What gets me out of the blah and boring stage is have a slumber party with my girls. We make popcorn, watch girl movies and just gossip all night. It makes me feel a lot better!

Vive le Quebec libre! (just kidding :*!)

Corinne :)

Ahhh Quebec - explains the tatoos and body piercings.....

I thought I detected a French accent. Ever been tree planting in BC?

Ahhh--I know what you need Miss Limecat! A wild weekend in Vegas!! Remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas right?
I live here and I AM THE MOST BORING PERSON ON PLANET EARTH!! :p

You have a great sense of humor, I am always happy to see your posts, and I think if I lived in Quebec we would be great friends!:)
My DH says his goal in life is to be boring, which is why I married him, he is brilliant this man!
I have a another suggestion, go plug in Cathe's Interval Max from a bizillion years ago, you can amuse yourself with the flashback workout gear and hairstyles, and get your butt kicked so hard you won't remember what the he$$ boring is anymore! Trust me.

Do that or go get Botox, not being able to move parts of your face should keep you amused for the three months or so!!:+

Tattoo, body piercing, head shaving, sky diving...sounds about right. I'm in...need a change BIG TIME!

Shelley, just let me know when you are ready.

Melody and Shelley, when you go tattooing, body piercing, head shaving and sky diving, please take me to watch. Now, how is that for boring.

MELVIN!!! Okay, I'm not in for the skydiving, but let's do the rest! We can be middle-aged biker chick moms with attitude!

You know, I think today I'll wear my hair UP! I'm such a rebel! Whoo hoo.

Corrie - tree planting, huh? Nope, never done that, in BC or anywhere.

I just shaved my SO's head. Strangely it doesn't make me feel less boring:p

Got an idea for you: Instead of buying jewelry, but a plane ticket. JUMP ON A PLANE AND COME TO THE NYC GTG! :D :D That'll get you out of your dull routine for a while. YOU TOO MISS MELODY! :+

Everyone really should try skydiving! I did and it really made me feel different about myself. I DEFINITELY did not feel boring that day! It would be a great reason for a GTG :)

I would LOVE to get a tatoo, I just want to make sure that it is one that means something to me. (Kinda boring I know.)

I pierced my belly button for my 30th in hopes that it would motivate me to lose some weight. I didn't feel boring, but I did feel kind icky when it just wouldn't heal because it never saw the light of day. (It's gone now and with my extra belly skin, it will probably not re-appear.) I am thinking of OTHER piercings though....

With all these tatooed, pierced, head-shaved, biker chick middle aged Moms, I am really curious to see what our daughters are going to do to rebel;)

You all are such a hoot - it's been great to come to the forums for a daily smile or laugh.

Shelley,

Today I wore no underwear! I was wilder than you:p

And shaving SO's head does not count. We have to shave our own.
