I am addicted to Butts & Guts

Ladies, you are going to have to pry this workout from my cold dead hands. I have done it 3 times and all I can say is WOW. My backside is thanking me. The little roll of fat underneath my cheek (you know what cheek I'm talking about) is GONE and I am starting to see some lifting going on and width going away. I don't think I can ever do another leg workout again!!

Now that's a statement one would not want to make anywhere but this forum! Congrats on your new kiester!

Hey, if it will get rid of that butt cheek fat roll, I'm game. I'll be doing this one Thursday!

You know, I'm not entirely sure I've ever done this full workout, only premixes. So instead of GS Legs tonight, B&G here I come!

I did the B&G Timesaver premix yesterday, thinking "Oh, this won't be so bad - quick and easy!" Man oh man, am I SORE today! It is a devilishly wonderful workout - it gets in there good, and works exactly what it says it will work. :)

*hobbles into thread*

I hate you!!! Holy OUCH, Batman, that was hard. And I didn't even use my ankle weights because I wanted to try it without first.

I can't imagine what tomorrow is going to bring.:p

Does this workout every get any easier?!?! Everytime I pull this one out, I think it won't be so hard and it always is! It just wipes me out!

I have been doing B & G's three times a week since Cathe came out with this series. I absolutely LOVE this one. I have always done my leg and butt workouts three times a week for years now. I normally do Cathe's until she puts a new one out.

I just finished up my 83rd B & G's workout tonight and I must say that it doesn't get easier for me at all. I can hardly get through the lunge squat series and my legs and butt are screaming and then Cathe says "That felt great!" I think "She's got to be kidding!" If she thinks that feels great, I would hate to see what she considers to say "OUCH".

I have noticed my butt lifting with this one - as Billy Blanks says "You will be walking around with a tall butt."

Here I am 51 years old - with ten children and my butt doesn't show any evidence of the sag, yet. I can thank Cathe for her great workouts!

Cheryl, you look great! You need a smaller bikini, girl! ;-)

Cheryl,

What an inspiration! 10 children and still have time to workout? I hope I can look like you at the same age with 2 children.

I love pictures like yours, they are so inspiring and they show that exercise is the ONLY WAY to maintain a great figure no matter what age you are.

I forgot to ask, how much heavy weights do you use for the workout? Do you use the same size dumbbells and barbells?

I am so with you on this one! I have been doing 2-3x's week and have seen results like never before!
I have to really force myself through the floor work- because any floor work seems so time consuming and repetative to me- but the payoff is worth it!
This workout is a classic.

I haven't done this one regularly, but if it gets rid of thutt fat, maybe I should! I did do the Lower body premix the other day, and when the card comes up telling us to take a 15 second break before REPEATING THE FLOOR WORK, I had to hit the skip button on my DVD player!

I think I am going to do the premix blast tonight. Do you think if I start to regularly incorporate this into my w/o's that it will minimize my butt? I am 5 5 and 119 and trying to lose about 4 lbs and its mostly in my butt and hips.

I have done this once before and it is a fabulous workout! :)

>I'm with you on that one! It's an excellent workout!!!! I
>love the Fire Walkers the best.

Me too!!! I love the Fire Walkers and I do them with the heavy band instead of the medium band for more of burn. They are my favorite part of the whole workout!!:)
