I admit it - I've become a ...

Cathlete
Cathe snob. I was a Firmie. I started when the Susan Harris video came out and I pre-production ordered everything from the early days right through BSS 3. And I like them. Then I discovered Cathe at Christmas. And in the last 5 weeks I've gotten more RESULTS than ever. But when I really realized that I'm in Cathe's camp was a few days ago when I pulled out and did Allie's maximum cardio burn from BSS2 and Lisa's fat blasting cardio from BSS3. I got no burn and had no interest. Let's face it - they're no IMAX and IMAX 2. Just wanted to say thanks to Cathe. She's amazing. :)

I'm one too. Several years ago, i did the Firm, Tae-Bo, Kathy Smith and bunches of others. Once I discovered Cathe, I started doing her stuff exclusively and wound up getting rid of all my non-Cathe workouts!

I think we all are. It's the tie that binds. :)

Cathe's workouts are the only ones I've ever found superior to what I can get in a health club. I'll never give up my gym, but b/c of my schedule I'd never be able to fit the cardio in 4-5 times a week if it wasn't for Cathe.

I'm another one. Once I got my heartrate monitor everything changed. I found that the Firm did nothing for me in the cardio department. After figuring that out I started shopping around for high intensity and found Cathe. I've been hooked ever since. Just last week I took my Firm tapes out of my video cabinet (with the exception of 5 day abs) to make room for more Cathe. Now I have the Blast Series, Intensity Series, Slow and Heavy series and almost all her earlier step tapes. I just can't justify getting hardcore series with so many Cathe workouts I haven't even viewed yet! Well I guess only if I can find a way to sneak the hardcore DVDs into the house after all I've spent recently LOL. The only other video instructor I still like besides Cathe is Mindy Mylrea.

I am right there with you too. I remember the days when I used to just spout on about the Firm all the time too - and the thought of even doing one of those workouts now just doesnt appeal to me. I know that the intensity level is just not there. My favoties used to be the cross-trainers - but now I think of the "cardio step" portions and just smirk. I love cathe and feel SO much more worked out after one of her workouts.

I even do the basic step workout on an 8" step and get in a good workout when I know that my knees need a break from all the high impact. I recently sold most of my remaining Firms on EBay since I knew I would never grab one of their weight tapes over Cathe's.

It have been amazing to find her workouts and I love introducing my friends to them.

Anne :)
