I'm hypothyroid and it seems that every year or so I need my dosage readjusted. Lately I've been working on a strength workout with less cardio and trying to up my protein intake. I noticed that I seem to be very tired after the workouts, more toward the end of the day. However I also noticed my bodyfat percentage going up, now I did increase calories, only do cardio three times a week but the calorie increase was pretty clean so it was disappointing to watch the bodyfat go up too. I expected a little increase but not a lot. Anyway, my thyroid is low again, so they need to increase my medication. Does anyone else with this disease have to yo-yo around with what really works for your body? I can't always go by whats in the books because it just won't work for me, even if my medication dosage seems to be correct and my thyroid is in the normal range. I need to be cautious and still consider it on the low range. Is that the same for anyone else? Sorry to be so long winded.
