Good Morning!

I called in sick today so I could stay home with DS. We will see how it goes...tomorrow may be another sick day. I am just on call so I told them if they needed me to call me. The weather isn't very good so chances are, they won't need me. I do have a flight at 5'ish though. I may want to go to work for a little break by then.

I went to cards last night and while I was gone DS woke up. DH said he wanted no part of him. Tried pushing him out of the bed and kept asking for "mommy". Poor thing. He slept with me all night and DH slept in his bed.

I have gut rot again:confused: Im wondering if I don't have irritatble bowel syndrome or something. I usually only use the washroom once a day, first thing in the morning. Yesterday I used the washroom 5 x's and twice so far today:confused: Geez!

Todays workout will most likely be Disc 11 and cardio. I will bbl!

Morning Ladies,

I ended up calling in sick yesterday and may again today. I have a fever/chills and am nauseous. I hate this feeling. The Dr. is supposed to call me today to see how I'm doing on the medication he prescribed and would prefer to have that conversation in the privacy of my home.

It's disc 12, legs today and I may just push through it. Yesterday I managed 40/20, finished up the few CST exercises I missed and did Stability ball abs. It was a nice workout.

DH brought home is w-2 and I think we have most of the necessary documents to start our tax return. I'll probably get started on that this weekend. Hope we get a refund, we could really use the money right now.

Lori-sorry Rylan is still sick. I just renewed my gym membership (near work)so hopefully I can start going again on my lunch hour. I'm feeling pudgy and hate this feeling....which is why I want to do Insanity next week.

Jacque-I'm only ahead of schedule with the STS rotation due to doubling up on some of the workouts and only taking rest days when needed. I am noticing some difference in my upper body, not so much my lower though.:mad:

Laura-hope you got some well deserved rest last night. Yes, I couldn't resist the "I told you so" to Zach regarding Insanity.

Wendy-How are you spending your mental health day? Hope you enjoy a long workout....and maybe some shopping. You need a new dress to go with your new shoes right!

Good Morning.

I am washing clothes-lovely way to spend a day off, huh? :rolleyes: I just ate something so I'll be working out in a little while. I pulled out MMA:Boxing and NMTZ for today since I will have more time but that could change at any given moment! LOL Y'day I opted for HiiT: DWP. It kicked my ass! :D

Lori:: Sorry about the bad belly. Hope it clears up for ya soon!

Happy Hump day ladies !

Last night was Double Wave - I like that one the best out of the HiiT workouts. Was fun ! After that I did the first 20 min of MMA Kickbox and by the end my legs were fried. Still were sore from the end of last week but this AM they are feeling pretty good. Perhaps it was the hot bathtub soaking I did after my workout. My back was so tight I needed to relax and I think it worked ! :p Today will be back and shoulders I believe.

And yesterday I got a call about another job. Seems to be more of a lateral move but is with Dole Fresh Vegetables - a very large company. Think I'll be interviewing on Mon. The person who had the job worked a week, said she got sick (the recruiter isn't sure if the job was just too much) and ended up not coming back. They may need someone right away. Better start cleaning up my desk and files soon since I'll either be moving or leaving . . .

Kinda excited but not happy about having to commute - I am SOOOOOOO spoiled ! :rolleyes:

Lori - good you went out and had some fun last night. You seem to have belly issues alot - perhaps you do have IBS. Ever checked with a doc about it? Hope DS gets to feeling better soon.

Diana - sorry you aren't feeling well - LOL that you are still getting your workouts in there though ! You are much better than I am - I always use not feeling well as an excuse to skip a workout. Just don't seem to have the motivation when I am not feeling well.

Wendy - Oh yes, today is your day off between jobs. Well once the laundry is done you'll be a "free bird" to do whatever you want until Joey gets home, huh? So we were doing DW the same day - yep - an A$$kicker it is !
 
Hey Girls!

Just had a couple slices of toast...belly seems to be a bit better. The only thing I can narrow down is that I had onions both times. Last week it was onion rings so thats alot of onions. Yesterday it was just mixed in the food. I dunno....I guess if it continues I will have to make a Dr's apt.

My workout ended up being 5 miles on the TM and Disc 11. One more disc and its rest week! Those 4 weeks flew by pretty fast!

Wendy** Enjoy your workout and you day off! I know a day off usually consist of cleaning and laundry! The laundry in my house is never ending!

Diana** Ah....Im sure your not pudgy! Why do you feel like that? Maybe a week of Insanity will make you feel differently!

Jacque** How exciting!! A new job! My boss was talking to the new owners today and told him that everyone was getting anxious. He said that they are still going to run it the way it is...yada...yada....but he is going to see if he can talk to the head guy and get the ball rolling.

I should get ready for work. I have to go in for 2 flights. Beats taking DS to the sitters I suppose!

Hello Ladies!

Well I got a little more sleep last night .. but seems every time I dozed off soemthing would wake me up .. UGH .. I hate that!!! May have to have a couple CABS to make me sleep better tonight ??:confused: Last night I was set to do Plyo class .. but I was running late and everyone had set up for 4 step class... so one girl said .. just combine the two :eek: we need everything :eek: .... well now .. OKIE DOKIE!!! :D so i took the two classes and combined them .. YOWZA .. we were dying towards the end .. my HR monitor said I burned 530+ calories in one hour :eek: :D :D today have DOMS in the shoulders and core and back :D .. there is another fitness class that has started up .. ZUMBA ... seems everyone is packed in there .. odd for this town I think .. I just cant see people here doing hip thrust - booty shaking- dirty Latin dancing .. but right now it is a HOT class ??? I dont get it .. must be taught on uber beginners level ... b/c some people have a hard time in class catching on to up up down down and mambo on step ????????? :confused: SIL says it is a fad .. something new .. I see it as an alternative to my teaching style b/c I teach hard core weights - sweat your @$$ off - every muscles hurting when you leave workouts .. not dance and have fun leave feeling energized .. I dont get it .. but ?????????? to each his own ..

Wendy .. have fun on your MENTAL DAY .. sometimes getting the house in order can make you feel OH SO GREAT though .. especially getting it clean and done to where you dont have to go to the new job worrying about what you cant get done at the house .. :) .. have fun .. get a great workout in and RELAX :)

Jacque ... I can imagine how quiet the house is ..since my friend lost her dog .. I was just thinking how much time I spend cuddling and laughing and playing w/my big babies .. hurts me to think about them not being there!! NEW JOB???????? wow .. this is out of the blue???? OK .. so today is hair cut at lunch ... then tonight is either me or SIL teaching have not made up my mind yet .. DH is off (surprised) this afternoon .. so i may go home and enjoy some alone time ;) before long hours start FRI .. ??? we will see either way .. class gonna workout w/kickboxing .. home gonna workout the fun way ;););) be doing my own sexy dance ;):p:p:p have a great one!:D
 
Quickie post before going to pick DS up from school to say that I did some laundry and some vacuuming and washed the kitchen floor today. Got 30 Day Shred done this afternoon (all 3 levels back to back! YEOWCH! :eek:) only AFTER eating COOKIES for lunch! Yeah, you read it right..COOKIES FOR LUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad::eek::rolleyes:

Im watching TBL I recorded from last night...thought I would checkin with you fine ladies while I was watching it:) Less reading to do in the a.m.

My stomach seems to be better now....knock on wood:confused: I didn't eat much for dinner b/c I was afraid but I did get DD to bring me home some dessert from the restaurant she went to for dinner. When I got up from putting DS to bed two of them were after getting into my dessert and had all the good pieces eaten. Not cool! The dessert was called fiesta nachos and it was traingular pieces of something with caramels, choc and white choc drizzled on it. They had all the good pieces eaten and had left me with the plain ones...not impressed...b/c it was MINE after all.

Laura** You are funny!!! Now I know what you are doing right now;) Maybe you don't need to take a Zumba class b/c you have all the moves....maybe you should teach it;)

Wendy** Cookies for lunch. Sounds like something I would do! Im waiting for that stuff to catch up with me. My running partner was trying to eat healthy and on a schedule when she was training but she eventually through it to the side and went back to her old eating habit which is whatever, whenever. She found that she had more energy this way. So I guess what i am trying to say is eat cookies for lunch if you want;)
