I was hating my new Polar HRM because it wouldn't start reading my heart rate until I was more than half way throught my workout. My DH suggested that I make the band tighter. I thought it was pretty tight already, but apparently I was wrong. I made it very tight, and guess what? Yup. The thing works great now. I feel like such a dufus.
Just wanted to share in case anyone else is having this problem.
