HR monitor question - yes another one

Here's my dilemma. I never burn many calories according to my HRM. I just need to know if this is normal or a product of my particular HRM. I have an M32. For example, today I ony burned 205 calories doing Imax3. I read about people burning 400-600 calories and I'm jealous. I'm a small person 5'2" about 114 lbs.Right know , my limits are 106/141 (60-80% of max HR) and I set them manually. When I let my HRM figure my ozone, the limits are 114/141.So, I thought I'd try my own.
Should I try chalk it up to everything being relative ar should I go after the big numbers. Thanks for your input. It's been bugging me for awhile.

I think I have read from previous threads that HRM are not always accurate on calories burned. I am sure you burned more than 205 with Imax3. There is a site somewhere that you can put in the type of activity and your weight to see how much you burned. If I can find it I'll come back and let you know. I am sure others will chime in here...:)

HRM are a pain sometimes. I just bought a Polar because my Timex one will suddenly tell me my HR is 279. I figure if I'm at 279, I'm about to die. I'm interested in seeing how my Polar numbers compare to my Timex ones. Is there anyway you can borrow a different one? And do you have your weight set properly?

I think something is wacky with your HRM.

I am 4'11 and about 105# but my calorie burn is higher than 205 for just about every cardio workout. Not close to 600 at all, but at least in the 300-400 range. BTW, I am almost 46 years old, but I don't know if that factors in with HRMs.

I have the F11, and use the Ownzone to figure my range; can't remember what it is, but I don't pay attention to it while exercising. I just go by how I feel. I don't get too concerned anymore because I know that we get a bit of an "afterburn" also that isn't measured by those monitors.

My opinion is just go by how you're feeling. If you think you want to push yourself a bit, then go for it...but if you feel you are at a nice level, that is good, too!:)

I have the M32 also and get similar numbers to yours. I weigh 121, even doing a Spinerval I'm in the 200's is all.
