How to strengthen the neck

Any tips for how to strengthen the neck? I find that my neck gets tired during some of the Ab routines. It's getting a bit better over time, but I'd like to speed up the process if possible.

Don't know about strengthening, but there are few things to make it more comfortable:
- a lot of workouts don't have hands supporting your head/neck. If it gets too much, put one or two hands to support. Not tight, just cradling! It helps a bunch.
- remember to keep your chin up (not tucked into your chest), pretend there is an orange or little ball there.
- last, put the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth during ab work- yeah I know it sounds weird, but for whatever reason it works. I don't know who told me about that, I think it was during my time in the military..
