Cathlete
Hi everyone. I mostly lurk and rarely post, but I find myself needing some positive encouragement today.
I just started Cathe's Jan 06 rotation, which is 90 minutes a day. I had been waiting a few days to start because of insomnia, but I finally got some sleep last night so I decided to start today. First day calls for Boot Camp, followed by 1st 5 intervals of IMAX2. I did BootCamp with no problem (did all but 1 of the Terminators, which is really good for me) but by the time I was doing the 3rd blast of IMAX2, I started feeling really tired and a little dizzy/nauseous. So I stopped, cooled down, did the BootCamp stretch.
And here's where the crazy comes in -- I feel like I failed today. For some reason, skipping those last 10 minutes makes me feel like I may as well have skipped the whole day. At 1 level, I recognize how ridiculous that is (Boot Camp is a tough workout anyway, and I should feel great for having survived that, let alone tacking on an extra 15 minutes of high impact, high intensity interval training etc). On the other hand, part of me feels like I will never reach my goals if I can't even make it through 10 more minutes.
You all have been a wonderful source of support and inspiration on this forum, and I'm hoping you will be kind enough to send some of that my way today.
