How to rehab after pregnancy and bestrest - NEED ADVICE!!!

Cathe,
I have read your post on how you rehabiliated after your last pregnancy. I have some questions though on how I should start to rehabilitate myself. I exercised with your workouts and jogged up till 28 weeks in this pregnancy. My pregnancy then turned high risk, and was on bedrest for 8 weeks. I had an irritable uterus and contracted for two months every day till I delivered. I am now in my third week postpartum, and intend with doctor approval to workout again once my 6 weeks are over. I did have a c/s so I know that will make things go a little slower.

My question is what is the best way to rehabilitate after bedrest and pregnancy. I noticed you seemed to focus on cardio before you focused on weights. Is there a benefit to doing cardio first, then adding weight training later? Also I saw you only worked your abs twice a week for a while, was there a reason not to work them more often? I am hoping to rehabilitate myself without having to get physical therapy, mainly for my abdominals. My abs were worked in overload status with the contractions, and would burn from the contractions that would last some days for 8-10 hours. I had a four pack before this pregnancy, and had pretty good strength in my core. I am eager to get back onto the path of complete recovery. Any help would be great, or if someone has experiance in rehabilitation, I would love your help/advice as well.

Thank you for your time.

ETA: Due to the stress of this pregnancy I gained little weight and have lost all but a pound of it already, but as with every pregnancy I've lost all definition in my muscles - so that is what I am working with right now.
