How do your picture by your username?

Also, any advice on how to make a picture smaller? I wanted to put one on my webpage and when I did, oh my gosh, face covered the whole page and I had to take it out!!! (scary! LOL) anyways, I don't know how to make it smaller??

could depend on how you saved the file. if it was saved orignally as .bmp then it would be large. try saving it as a .jpg and that should be smaller.

Usually, if you have a pic editting program, you can compress pics so they don't appear as large online and also take up less MBs. Under tools or edit, there might be something that says "compress".

when ever I try to hit Compress, it opens up Netscape and I don't want to have to down load another program?? argh, I am so not with it with this tech stuff!!!!

make it a 1"X1" picture. Around 40 pixels. That should do it.

you do it under resize photo, depending on the software. I may be able to help if you give more info on what software you are working with.
