How short is to short ????

Hi everyone ,So Im 44 and my 21 year old son says my shorts are to short . I would love your ideas on this . I'm not very up on fashion and maybe I do need help ,but he shows me on my legs and well he points to my knees !!!!! I admit mine are way shorter then that ... My saddle bags are gone ... no fat dents .. Help ..LOL :D :D

Are there cheeks in sight anywhere? That's too short for most people's taste in general. It also depends on around the house or out in public. But if you are comfortable then, then I'd say he may just want his mother to look a little more, well, motherly }(

I'm thinking like a 4 or 5 inch inseam is pretty good. Not too long, not too short, no chance for embarrassment when bending over!

Test them out by turning your butt to the mirror and bending over. Anything showing that shouldn't? Also try sitting down in a kitchen chair in front of a mirror. Any cellulite lumps? Anything showing that shouldn't? If they look fine, then stick with them.
 
Thanks ladies ,I'm sticking with my shorts LOL .. I did all the same things you suggested .And my inseams are 4 inches ... LOL Yep I feel like I work hard to be able to wear ....well the same shorts the 21 year olds wear LOL . I just cant deal with the all the way to the knees shorts ..LOL never have ... Now my 17 year old son feels my shorts are fine !!! My hubby well he doesnt say A word EVER ... Not ever !!! I wish sometimes he would good or bad ... Anyhow thanks a ton .... Hugs :) :) :)
 
Well, he could be saying that because Bermuda's are in right now, and shorts that are to the knees are what everyone is wearing. (I'm trying to decide if they are actually shorts or capri's). Maybe he thinks mom looks good and wants her to be fashionable. :+

Or maybe he thinkgs mom looks too sexy, and feel uncomfortable about thinking "mom" and "sexy" in the same sentence!
