I used to wonder why I could pack down a Big Mac Meal, a Coke, and a candy bar and still be hungry. I was shoving food in my body, but I wasn't FEEDING it. Eats whats good for you and the rest will take care of itself.

I think the body craves especially minerals, which are very deficient from most processed foods. No matter how many calories you pack in, if you aren't fulfilling nutritional needs (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, who knows what else that isn't identified yet but is present in whole foods as nature intended), it still wants more in order to satisfy it's basic needs.
