How much cardio & weights ea wk to lose

I could use some help. I need to lose about 20-30 pounds, I eat quite healthy (with an occasional treat), and exercise 3-4 times each week (at least). But, I want to up that exercise because I know it will help with my weight loss efforts. I haven't really done 'a lot' of weight training either and I believe that would probably help, too. So, how much time each week should I devote my workouts to cardio and sculpting?

Gee, I was hoping to see your reply! I have the same question. I have about 15 pounds to lose, been exercising about 4 days a week and incorporating a low carb diet. The first 10 lbs. came off pretty easily--now I really need something to help rev up the weight loss. My diet is pretty clean--I need some help with the exercise aspect of my plan.

How do I alternate cardio and weights to get things moving?
