How many shoes are abandoned in your closet?

How many shoes have you bought, worn once or twice, and the abandoned shoes are now collecting dust (in my house, lots of that) in your closet?

My DH claims I own more shoes than Emeldo Marcos - not true by any stretch of the imagination, but I am a sucker for a cute pair of shoes.

Hey, they are not abandoned...all the others are keeping them company. I have to admit I voted 15+. But I've been really good lately. I haven't purchased shoes in over a month.

Why isn't 0 an option? I only own about 7 pair and I use them all. 2 pair are workout shoes.

Zero--I just went through my closets and got rid of all the clothing and shoes that I did not wear. For many years I would buy clothes and shoes that deep down didn't really wow me. Don't know why, just did.

NONE! I may not wear them all on a regular basis, but I love all my shoes and they all have a place in my wardrobe. Did I mention I LOVE shoes? I wear them til they wear out!

I guess I don't like to think of the ones I don't wear any longer as being abandoned cuz I really like them ... they just cause me to have more serious foot problems. I'm thinking I should give them away to home that might have better use for them now. Thanks for making me think about them. Now I "should" do something about them.

I have serious shoe abandonment problems! I buy WAY too many shoes because I love them. But then, I don't always wear them. I'll get them home and realize the first time I wear them that they don't meet my standards for comfort. Then, they just sit in my closet.

I think it's time to make a trip to Goodwill with shoes.

(I have finally realized that only certain brands are worth buying because I am so picky about shoe comfort. The problem is though, that they must be CUTE and COMFY!)
