How many outfits are you taking on the ROAD TRIP??

I was just looking at the schedule again (for the 50th time). Do you all plan to change into the same outfit after each workout on saturday? Or will you have a different outfit after changing each time? Also, do we need to bring nice/dressy/clubby clothes or should it all be casual (shorts, t-shirts, etc.).

I'm also concerned about the shower situation. I simply cannot go to lunch or anywhere else without a shower. (I sweat like crazy and my long hair literally drips!) x( With only 10 shower stalls and me being my modest self, how will we all be ready in an hour? I was actually considering bringing a swimsuit only for jumping in a shower with a group of people. I know that sounds freakish - but I NEED to be clean! My motto is definitely "cleanliness is godliness" or however that saying goes....:p

Okay...who's not speaking to me now...:(

Hey, Laura. I think most of us are bringing a workout outfit for each workout. I know I have to because, like you, I sweat buckets. You can wring my clothes out afterwards. I will have to shower but I don't take too long.

I still haven't decided on clothes. Maybe jeans & a nice blouse for Friday evening. Casual for Cathe's Pizza Party. Anyone else have any ideas?

Marla

I'm bringing three sets of workout clothes with me. I plan to change into the next set of workout clothes following the end of the class. I'll just put some sort of shirt over my top prior to going outside for lunch.

Since we only have an hour inbetween events, I'm going to pack baby wipes and use those as a way to wipe the sweat off me. I'll take a real shower after the last workout of the day.

Actually, I'm not talking workout outfits. I've got that covered. I'm talking about AFTER each workout. Will you have a different outfit on after each workout on Saturday or after each workout will you change back into the same casual clothes?

Laura,

I think after the first workout it will be time for lunch so I plan on wearing jean shorts with my Cathe baby doll tee and then I think I will put it back on after the second workout for sony tour(are we doing the Sony tour?). After that is the last workout for the day and then I am putting on another outfit for the evening.

What are you wearing to the gym? I thought about just wearing my workout clothes.

Sabrina! Finally someone is making sense! Good idea. As far as the Pizza party, I'm still unsure what I'll wear.

Marla

Marla - Are you implying I'm not making sense????!!! Just kidding. Actually that's probably not unusual. At least it isn't according to ex-h - but what does he know????}(

LOL! No, No, I'm just saying its making sense in my head. I have a terrible sense of time. Ask my DH or my dear boss who hasn't fired me yet for being late all the time. I always feel like I have all the time in the world & I can do just tons of stuff in a given amount of time.

Marla

Laura & Marla,

I just figure that I will not have the outfit on long enough for lunch and then for the tour(or whatever we are doing) and that is it so why not.

Are you wearing anything over your workout clothes to the gym that morning? I am thinking not but I do wear the form fitting shorts. I don't want to hurt anyones eyes.;-)

I am not sure on the pizza party on Friday evening either. Saturday evening I have a skirt and a t-shirt with sandles(flip-flops) that I am wearing. Casual.

Sabrina, the pizza party is on Saturday night at the gym. We can't wear hard-soled shoes so no heels for mex( , but looks like you'll be okay with the flip flops. Friday night after the meet & greet we may go to a sports bar. I'm thinking jeans & a nice blouse for that. Oh, and my heels.;-)

Marla

Marla,

Oops!!, it is Saturday night but the outfit is still the same. I never stay up this late so don't pay too much attention to me. LOL! My in-laws were over this evening and I have been working on my packing this afternoon. Carryon is out of the question. I cannot do it! LOL!!

I will respond to your email too!! Sorry, busy day. We went yesterday to get new cell phones because we didn't have a good signal(we moved and the company is just setting things up here that we used there) and ended up taking them back today since they were not any better. Cancelled the contract with them and went somewhere else. It takes forever!!!

No worries! Everyday life does tend to interfere when we're talking Cathe Road Trip. Such a nuisance.:(

Marla

I'm not wearing anything over my workout clothes on Sat Morn. and I also wear the tight shorts so everyone beware! :) But I don't think we're doing the Sony tour; the AI thing will be in that time slot. Lorrayne said something in the American Idol thread about that. She also mentioned something about relay races on Sat night so you might not want to wear a skirt.

Laura--As for how many outfits, I think I'll be bringing 1 or 2 shorts (in case I spill at lunch) tons of shirts(as many as will fit) and like Marla said jeans for Fri. night, or maybe a skirt--it'll pack smaller! :)

I can't believe it's almost here!

This is my plan. I'm wearing capris and a t-shirt with a denim jacket and street shoes on the plane (sometimes it's cold on planes!). That will be my outfit for the whole of Friday including evening. Saturday I'm wearing my step class workout outfit with a warm-up type suit over it, and taking capris (a different pair) and my Cathe babydoll T for lunch, which will also likely be what I wear for the Pizza Party. Also two changes of workout clothes for the other two classes. Sunday morning I'll wear my workout clothes with warm up suit over it for the high step class, then shower and change into the capris I wore Friday (hopefully I won't spill on them) and a clean t-shirt for possible shopping and my trip home. I'm also planning on going shopping when I get there on Friday so who knows what that may bring!:)
