How many meals do you eat a day (average)

I've tried many different things -- from 5-6 a day ( only thing was here that I sometimes overate) to now I try to go on only 3 meals a day. Like Charlotte, I try to keep it around 2000 to 2500 calories a day -- lesser than that if I'm trying to actually lose weight.

Oh, we're suppose to divide eating into individual meals?

I pretty much eat all the time...really...but it's healthy eating except those "PMS eats" added at appropriate times.x(
 
i try to keep it at 5-6 meals. 1800- 2100 calories.
however like everyone else has said when PMS'ing- we can't keep anything in the cupboards/refrigerator:p
 
It varies widely for me. 4-5 during the week, usually - but then some days I'm just not hungry at all and get by on three... other days I'm like Shelley and Melody and could eat nonstop if work didn't get in the way. During the weekend, though, sometimes I'm lucky to get in three. I'll get so busy, I won't even think about food until I'm famished. So I guess I should say, I eat when I feel hungry.
 
When I wasn't working out, I ate 3 meals with a snack, and that seemed to hold me just fine.

However, now I'm exercising A LOT and I'm eating about 5 meals a day. I'm still tweaking my meal schedule as my body adjusts back to the heavier workload I'm putting on it, and I'm trying to include more fruits and veggies and proteins. It's getting there!

If you are able to get the show "Living Fresh", watch it for some great recipe ideas! It's on FitTV and one other station (TLC maybe?). Tonight, I made the stir fry she made on her show last week, and it was wonderful! It's the second time I've made it this week! And it lasts for about 4 days so I can eat it as a side of veggies with my meals.
