Ok, Start with the list.
Check name off.
Fill the box , check it twice. No mistakes.
Seal box.
Punch in shipping label.
Print it out shipping label
Place on box....
Put in pile to be shipped.
10 min per order my estimate.
6 per hour X 6 people= 60
60x10hr day = 600

If there are 2000-5000 orders it could take some time.
Just a little incentive to be patient.

We will be feeling the DOMS soon enough....

You can be mad or happy... I choose to be happy...

Happy is easier...

6 per hour X 6 people = 36, not 60. But I certainly don't think it will take them 10 minutes per order! It takes me way less to package my swaps and sales. The labels are all already printed out (and possibly already on the boxes), but even if not, I think 5 minutes max per order.

I thought there was only four in shipping? As a past plant manager of production (included shipping) You have to take into account moving of pallots, packaging material (refilling, removing empty bags, trash, and quality control). Orders will always come up that you question and must varify. Also-shipping labels must print on the day they are shipped. Most likely software will have an error message that you must over ride for orders shipping after the timed UPS picks-up. Time consuming. Right now-I would imagine that the pallots are filling up for Mondays ship out date. Just as Cathe said. ;( :* :7

5 mins? Do we really expect Cathe and crew to work as automatons with no respite? All good things come to she who waits.

Deep breath now,

Clare

WOW! i'd seriously like to know their average orders filled per hour!! it would be an intersting number! but i'm sure they'll never let us know!

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

Alright sorry i wasn't thinking. I was thinking 10 for 60 min.
Excuse me...

I just think people need to realize they are human beings. Not machines.
How would everone like to be on their side of the fence right now. Would you like this pressure at work?

Have you ever sold on e-bay and used the paypal mailing?
How slow it can be???

There are going to be less announcements and fewer updates till the last minute in the future to avoid this stress..
They are going to wait till the orders have been shipped to tell you.

Come on , put yourselves on their side....

OK, Come at me. I don't care.
This is how i feel...

Anne:

I wasn't writing to criticize you. I totally get your point and that's what I was suggesting also. They are not automatons. Just people.
