How Kind Are Cathe Forum Members?

Let me tell you! I'm sending another $200 to my cousin and her family today and that makes $1000 from this forum!! I never asked for you to do anything- that is just because you WANTED to!
I want to tell you that I am encouraged by this outpouring of kindness even though it isn't for me!
I also know that others here have prayed for them and they are truly thankful for everything! Some people in their area are getting their power restored, however, 2 homes in their area caught fire when the power returned because there had been damage to the electrical system. So...now they have to have the "rubble pile" inspected before they can get power to continue to clean up and salvage whatever they can. Our home expansion project is coming along and we are keeping them posted. They are hanging in there. Communication is still very iffy, but they send their deepest thanks.

Wow. The people down there have such a long ways to go...most of us can even begin to imagine. Out prayers are still with them and everyone else.

Thanks again for the update. Like Renee said, it's hard to imagine what all the people of NO will have to go through in order to put their lives back together. My goodness, the possibility of fire from bringing the power back up did not occur to me at all.

The generosity shown by those on this forum is truly heartwarming. I, for one, am very touched by it. I'll just bet Cathe is too.
