FWIW to you fitness fans here, I thought I'd tell a story about how I found out about Cathe and this website.
Up until the last couple months I had been out of shape, overweight and I knew it. Going to the beach and seeing all the fit and trim people in their swimsuits made me rather insecure. I was 30lbs overweight and it showed, my posture wasn't too good either from a long term problem with my back, which has always been weak and prone to injury. I had seen all the infomercials about those exercise machines that promise a lot but the news reports said they were all a waste of time and money.
The turning point came one day at the jewelry store where I was shopping for a bracelet for my niece on her birthday. The saleswoman was in her early 40s and at first glance was thin and petite, the way I picture JRFitness from her description in the Bicep Moments column. At first, you wouldn't take her seriously as someone who was strong and fit. But as she was talking to me, at one point she pulled her long hair back behind her with her right hand. As she did this, this big ball of rock hard looking muscle suddenly popped out and WOW, it looked almost ready to explode. It just popped up out of nowhere like a jack-in-the-box.
So I had to ask her if she works out and she said yes, and then mentioned that she has a small home gym and uses exercise video tapes. I asked whose tapes and where could I get them and that's when she told me about Cathe. I bought the tapes she recommended, CTX, CK, MIC and MIS. But she recommended that I should try easing into it first and that was very good advice! I wouldn't be alive to talk about this otherwise. In the last few weeks I have already made improvements, losing almost an inch from my waist and almost as much off my butt. Thanks Cathe for such wonderful videos and website. And thanks to that saleswoman too. I'm glad I bought that bracelet from her.
