I chose "other" because all of the above are true for me. I used to think chatting on forums was for weirdos--lol! I'm now very happy to include myself in that category and feel that I have made some very good friends here. There are folks here that I plan to meet in person one day.
As for health benefits, I've been more consistent than ever before, especially since I started the "I Hate Cardio" Check-in. I've also lost weight. Overall, participating in the Cathe forums has been a positive experience for me but I still think people that chat on other forums are weirdos--lol!
I've made some incredible friends on this forum, learned tons about health and exercise and nutrition, started doing workouts I never even knew existed.... it's a great place.
The forums are such a great help. You make friends, learn about things, help people, and lose weight, gain muscle. The perfect place to be for a want to be healther person.
I'm more fit than I ever have been, thanks in large part to the advice found here (and Cathe's routines, of course!), and I have more fun working out because of the new combos and variations everyone posts. I feel somewhat "normal" now that I know there are other fitness maniacs out there , and I just love the friendly people here. I haven't met any in person yet, but I sure hope to some day.
I also chose other because my reasons include new friends and the workout info/motivation/support. There are many new friends here I hope to meet in person. The forum is not only a wealth of friends with exercise knowledge, but support and answers for all sorts of topics and life situations.
I eat healthier. I exercise smarter. I have met some inspiring and caring people. I can't put into words how much I have gained from the cathe.com forums.
For me it's the friends and the motivation. I am trying things I never thought I could do because of these forums, and I'm enjoying it very much. When I need an extra push, I log on and read.
I'm new to the message board and I love it. Reading through all the ladies' messages have inspired me so much. I've been eating better, working out every day and finally can see a difference in the way I feel and look. What an inspiration!!!:7
I chose 'other' as well but in all honesty it's all but 'lose weight', my weight has hovered in the same range (within 10 lbs) since long before I ever posted. Finding this site was a major revelation to me. I discovered Cathe after being consistently disappointed with too many instructors and wanted to shout from the roof tops that intensity, results, creativity and exercise videos were not mutually exclusive. In those early days I was naive enough to think that others would be as excited as I but after more than a few blank stares and "..........okay....whatever"s I just kept it to myself. When I started lurking I was stunned and wanted to burst through the screen with arms outstretched calling "MY PEOPLE!..:7" Anyhoo...I've been inspired and amazed with so many here and touched by the kindness in words and deeds. It really is wonderful. I've been stressing out a lot lately and this week my 16 year old Elizabeth said to me "I love how you de-stress by going on Cathe" I really love it too WE ROCK!:7 :+
I hate that we can only vote once on these polls! I voted for friends. It has been so amazing to know that there are other women like me out there!!! And, it's a super duper bonus how much I enjoy every single one of you!

ALL OF THE ABOVE!!! Some of the most amazing people I know, I met here. A lot of the nutrition and exercise information I have, I got here. It is just an all around great place.

LOL!!! "MY PEOPLE" - I agree!! That's how I felt too.
Everyone cares so much about not only fitness, but overall health. Really great to know others care so much about these things.
