Gayle, I use Photobucket as a host for the pictures. I upload them to the site then copy and paste the URL into the post box. If I can do it, you most certainly can...I am many things but techno-talented ain't one of 'em :7 Good Luck!

When you have the picture up on the internet, right click on it, copy the properties address, then copy to your post.

Gayle, it needs to be hosted somewhere (like Picturetrail), then you need to copy and paste the address of the picture into the message - just like you do for your avatar. You don't need to use img tags - just paste the address straight, and the forum software will recognize if there's a jpg or gif at the end, so it will know to display a picture. Don't know if that made sense...

First you have to upload it to a website like www.photobucket.com and then you just copy and paste the URL they give you for the picture into your post.

Okay...
Go to your picturetrail. Find the picture you want and make sure you click on it so that it's the big picture on the right of the screen, not one of the thumbnails on the left.
Right click on the picture. Scroll down and click on Properties. When the menu opens, you'll see an address in the properties that will usually end with .jpg
Highlight that address and right click on it and choose Copy. Cancel out of the menu, go to your post on Cathe.com and right click again. Click on Paste and that address will show up. That's all you have to do. When your post shows up on the forums, the picture will be there, not the address.

Now....since you all helped me...here's what I'm doing. Cyndi, aka Retrofit, as you all know or have read about, was a HUGE help at the RT with taking pics, and so forth. Well, in a recent post of mine, where I was talking about the generosity of my fellow RTers, that was partly directed to Cyndi. She sent me a few things after the RT, one of those things being a rather large sum of money on a gift card for the boys and me...she directed me to get a cookbook of my choice and the boys to buy what they want. So this pic is my THANK YOU to her. I'm posting it in another thread directed to her right now!
