Cathlete
Now that it is getting warmer, I am looking to re-incorporate running 2x/wk in to my routine, but instead of just doing a regular old 3 mi. run outside or on my treadmill, i'd like to do intervals or something else. I saw in a thread I searched something called Cathe's Adv. Treadmill rotation, but can't find it or any other running/DVD rotations. Is there a way to search "way back"?

Any ideas or comments-?

Rose, I am not sure this is what you want?? I found "Cathe's Advanced Treadmill Workout." Was there a specific rotation using this workout?

3.4 - 4 min.
3.8 - 4 min.
4.4 - 4 min.
5.5 - 4 min.
6.5 - 5 min.
7.5 - 10 min.
8.0 - 5 min. (OPTIONAL!)
Slow down over 1 min. to 3.8
Raise incline to level 14 and walk uphill for 10 min.
Lower to level 9 and increase speed to 4.8 for 5 min.
Lower to ground level over 1 min.
Then do:
4 interval cycles of 8.0 for 1 min. and 6.0 for 30 seconds.
Finish with:
6.0 - 2 min.
3.8 - 3 min.
3.4 - 3 min.
3.0 - 4 min.

Thanks for finding that. I don't know if it was part of a rotation or not, but that looks kinda complicated.

When people refer to searching the archives, is that different than doing a regular search & if so, how do you access that?
thanks

Rose...not great on searches myself but I can help you with doing intervals. One of the standard intervals I do both running and on my Nordic track. Do a good warm-up then run hard for about 90 sec and recover jogging 3 minutes, then repeat that 4 or 5 times if you can. It'll be a short workout but very effective...:)...Carole
