I don't know how to do this here and would like to. Also, how do you put a link to another site in a post or email for that matter? Thanks.

On the bottom right of a post is an icon that says"quote" click it and voíla

To add a link, you highlight the link and press control C...that will copy it. Open your post and press control V...that will paste it.

How do you quote in a post?

1) Click the "quote" button in the lower right hand corner or
2) Copy the material as lala described- hit post reply - paste the material as lala described - then go up to the tool bar and click this -be sure the material you want to quote is highlighted

I like the 2nd option because you can highlight a word or phrase, click the button, and insert the link. For example, STS Info Page.

HTH!

Can anyone tell me how to quote multiple posts? I still haven't been able to figure that one out.

This is how I do it. Next to the quote button is an off/on button for multiple quotes. Click that to "on" for each post you want to quote. Then click "post reply" or "quote".

Then what?
You hit "reply to thread"?
Or you hit "quote" on one post ?

Also, when quoting, I always think it's polite to edit the quote to refer to just part of it (instead of quoting an entire three-paragraph-long post, for example).

Oh, I missed a step. I'll go edit.

And I agree about editing.
